This hotel was just perfect for us! We wanted to stay in a cool and a bit classy place: this was a perfect deal. The purple room was beautiful; the staff was super nice with us: polite, helpful and always available. The whole hotel is just a really cool place to stay at and the breakfast was really good as...

Adorable little boutique hotel in Bangkok... a bit off the beaten path from the traffic and hustle and bustle. The service was wonderful! We came down for breakfast in the morning and everything was so delish and fresh... fruits that I had never seen or even heard of! One of the front desk girls even gave our cab driver her...

I found Seven in the Lonely Planet and was very pleased. The staff were all very nice and helpful. They gave us tons of tips on getting around, where to eat etc. The room was clean, trendy, and bed was comfortable. We stayed in the blue room. The room was a bit small but we had our own balcony. It...

I stayed here for two nights with my friend in July 2011 and had very mixed feelings about it the whole time. Let me start with saying that the staff is very friendly and personal and that in itself makes me want to give the place a good wrap. Most the reviews here seemed to have been based on that....

I completely understand your frustration as a result of the disturbance to your stay by the young child of another guest, and please accept our sincere apology. We...

When I stayed at “Sleep at Seven” in Bangkok, I felt I was stepping into an oasis in the middle of the bustling Thai capital. But it is more than that. Bangkok is awash in hotels of all shapes and sizes, but tucked into a cul-de-sac off Sukhumvit Road, this town house turned B&B is a little hotel design gem,...

Hotel staff is very nice and friendly. They gave me a lot of suggestion about my following trip in Bangkok. 7 Hotel is like my second home in Bangkok. If you are couple , here will be your best choice. If you are solo traveler, you can still enjoy it.

We found Seven to be the perfect quiet retreat in the middle of the craziness that is Bangkok. My husband and I were first timers to the city, and the staff was very helpful in making sure we knew exactly where to go and how to get there. The hotel is also in an incredible location, with easy access to...

I jetted out of Singapore on a whim this weekend and I'm so glad that Seven was available. I chose this boutique hotel for location and because of a comment from a colleague. Such a pleasant change to stay in these lovely boutiques and get away from the feel of business travel. I can imagine a better place or staff....

this hotel has propably the best service in Bangkok as far as I can tell. The friendly staff was helping us a lot. For example: as there is no computer at the hotel, one of the staff gave us her private notebook so we could book a cooking class course. They even called the cooking class and helped us to...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Seven is a place for the privileged few, with just six couture rooms on four levels. It epitomizes the feeling of a stay in a stylish private home rather than a hotel a home that is modern, but ultimately very Thai. The multi-purpose "seventh space" - reception/art gallery/bar/lounge and each of the six guest rooms are inspired by the deep-rooted Thai tradition of relating each day of the week to a specific god of the planets and colours - red, yellow, pink, green, orange, blue and purple. ... more   less
