I have stayed at Wiriya many times now Each time I return due to the warm and engaging staff it is like visiting family The rooms are basic but cleaned daily Kitchen food here is good and well priced (try the kapok moo) Unfortunately At This price point you do get the odd half wit traveller with "issues" but that...

Terrible. The staff were unfriendly, the door on the room broke and the cleaning ladies steal your belongings. I was stolen 150USD from my suitcase. When I tried to tell the receptionist, she couldn't care less. Don't choose this hotel! A bunch of thieves.

Meow by name and meow by nature. Wiryia House can only be given one star because I can't select 0star after the behaviour of one of it's staff Meow. She was lovely at first but when she discovered that I’d booked an elephant trek with another company her attitude towards me changed at once... My pick up driver for the...

We stayed here as friends had stayed before in Feb. We where not expecting much just a basic hotel and a place to rest our head. However there is basic and then there is dirty. Our sheets had stains on them, ants in the bathroom, stains on floors and the air con was not working correctly. It sounded like a...

Hotel was lovely, it wAs basic and clean. The pool was nice to come back and relax away from the hectic ciry. We stayed on the light festival and the hotel showed us how to make our own floating lanterns. The little lady who cooks is wonderful and always smiley. There was also someone at reception all day and night....

There are better hostels than this one. Really basic but not that clean, my two towels were dirty and also my pillows. Only one of the staff (owner?) Speak English so you can understand. They offer all kind of service though and the location is near and quite.

We have given this 4 as for us it did not disappoint. We stayed for 2 nights and we were allowed to store bags and valuables between the 2 nights as we embarked on a jungle adventure in between, nice touch. Rooms clean, fridge and water appreciated. Laundry rates great with quick turn over. Very helpful and friendly staff with...

I regret to say the reason I have given this place 2 stars is because customer service and cleanliness are an absolute must in my books... (Had too many bad budget experiences) I was a bit unhappy with the state of the bed sheets in my room. I asked politely (I freakin hate confrontation and being awkward, trust!!) for them...

This hotel was clean and basic. The furniture looked like it has seen better days. The pool was nice in the hot weather. The location was good, a ten minute walk from the Chiang Mai gate. I would recommend this for a budget traveller.
