The Family Hotel is a great choice if you are Chiang Mai. The rooms are pretty big and also very clean. The location could not be better. What a dump, never stay here. Beds are like concrete, mould in the bathroom, water as little heat. Phone did not work & the TV was useless. Travelling with a six month old baby we had to clean everything & limit her to the bed only. As it is New Year we were forced to stay here for a night,...

We stayed here for 2 nights and found the first room we were given smelt of urine. The second smelt of smoke. We left to try and stay elsewhere however due to the light festival it was not possible. We had to return to stay. The 3rd room was slightly better but we only used the room to sleep we...

This is an older hotel that is in process of being renovated. If you're looking for something fancy with chandeliers and deep pile carpets this is not the place for you but if you want a place that is comfortable to sleep after a long day of touring it is quite sufficient. The rates here are significantly lower than most...
