A great stay within a short walk of Chiang Mai gate with it's morning market (all things Thai), and both the Saturday and Sunday street markets. Also an easy walk to Tapae Gate. The best part about Pat's though was the comfortable family like atmosphere created by the staff! Khun Lasana (Nong), is not only a fine hostess but also...

I had the pleasure of staying at Pat's for 12 nights recently. Although I have travelled quite extensively in the last few years, I was travelling alone for the first time. I like to stay in small less touristy hotels/guest houses, but wanted to feel safe and have easy access to the things I was most interested in. From the...

We stayed at Pat’s for a total of 8 nights during our 12 nights up in Chaing Mai. (The other 4 nights were at an overnight meditation course and 3 nights at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center.) Immediately upon landing, we were greeted by Mei, a worker at Pat’s, who came to pick us up at the airport. At the...

Stayed here with my wife, 2 young children and elderly parents in law in August 2008. Pat's is in a convenient location and within walking distance of the Night Bizarre. Rooms are basic but are ensuite and do come with aircon, ensuite shower room and 100 channel flat screen T.V. Staff are welcoming and helpful and the reception/cafe area is...

With its very good atmosphere (feng zhu) nicely furnitured clean rooms and excellent service this is a place you want to be. This was our 4th stay and coming back feels like coming home in a foreign country. Small details can make a big difference and especially this trip when we had a little accident that forced us to go...

We loved our 10 day stay at Pat's. We were the only guests there for half of our stay which was nice because we made friends with the staff. Nom, Lasana, and the others were excellent! The rooms are small yes, but they are cute and quaint. We got a room at the back of the hotel and when we...

First impressions were bad - we had arranged to be met at the airport by the guest house's own car but they forgot. We got a taxi eventually but it didn't ruin our stay. Great vibe in this place, nice street-front bar/cafe where dinner & breakfast is served. Nice people and free internet access. Rooms were small but spotless and...

Together with my girlfriend, we spent 4 nights at Pat’s Klangviang in Chiang Mai, in February, earlier this year. Chiang Mai was the third stop of our 3 weeks trip across Thailand (and Cambodia), after spending a couple of days in Bangkok and then a few nights in Siem Reap. Chiang Mai is a truly lovely city , but let...

there was a slight muddle about my booking at first, but then everything was made well again, by a lovely clean house, very modern yet thought through rooms. Nice staff and excellent location. Great value for money.
