Can't say enough about this place. It has such a cool vibe to it, it puts you in another world just being there. Met lots of cool people staying here and the staff was also super nice and helpful. They can arrange everything for you at he front desk; from tours to renting a scooter. The wifi is shared with...

OK! Let's stop trying to beat up on this old hotel! I had a room on two. No lift. Far as I'll walk. Coming up on the property you notice the paint coming off straight away. The lobby and staff are great. My room was really fine. It's not Trump Tower on Columbus Circle in New York. The bed is...

I stayed here for two sessions over a 12 day period, soley because of the 300 baht a night price. The second stay was marginally better than the first - well the wifi worked! Basic issues included; - wifi for rooms as well as whole building was very unreliable. - beds as hard as concrete. - water pressure in shower...

Dear Sam, 1. We did our best to clean, wax, and polish the floors without interrupting guests, despite the difficulty of doing so. We did inform our guests in advance. I doubt waiting 30 minutes for the wax to seal properly will diminish your life's quality. Please put things in perspective. 2. Beds as "hard as concrete" is an exaggeration....

During my time in Chaing Mai I have stayed here and been surprised by a lot of things. Mainly came her due to the price but didn't expect it to be as basic as what it wasn't. Initially no wifi in rooms which has now been corrected. Mattresses so hard thy may as well not be there and the bathrooms...

Dear Richard, 1. As the floor's wax was drying, we rightly told you to be patient and wait for 30 minutes. Lest people's footstep marks will be on the floors. 2. We are in the process of hiring a new chef. Meanwhile, we have a 60 THB quick breakfast for guests. However, they are free to visit other cafes and...

We booked 5 nights here and upon arrival the communal area and pool looked lovely, the room (Lanna Style with A/C) didn't look like the pictures online, balcony faces a wall so not much natural light, bathrooms need to be stripped out and updated too, in pretty bad state. The worst came at night, the mattress was like sleeping on...

The room was pretty cheap, 300 baht for 2 persons. The lobby area and the entrance look nice. The staff is nice and they speak English. The room is a bit dirty, with a few ants. The bathroom is also a little dirty with a hole in the ceiling. The heater for the shower is hard to use. I figured...

Me and my partner have stayed here for 4 nights. For a cheap place to stay this guesthouse met all our needs, warm shower and rooms with balconies and a bad in the lobby, for what we wanted this place was great. What made it for us was a certain staff member called Joe, he always had a smile on...

If you are looking for a funky, eclectic, charming hotel with lots of old-style art and décor, this is a good place. But I booked it for one reason only - the pool - and then discovered the water was so cold I couldn't stand to get in and swim. So I left a day early, even though there was...

My partner had stayed here ten years ago and said it was a great place...cheap and cheerful. So we walked in off the street and luckily they only had one night for a fan room. I didn't mind the four flights of stairs to get to our room....but when I opened the door I wanted to cry. Peeling paint..dodgy stains...
