The Na Thapae Hotel is a great little motel to stay at. It's located in an off-street so there ain't much noise in the morning hours nor during the night. The staff is friendly although only one member speaks and understands English at a decent level. The downsides: We received a room where the shower head would constantly disconnect from... More

I never stayed in a room in Thailand which was so clean. Also the Breakfastroom and the the other sections. It was a bit strange to find so many signs with the rules and the fines of this Hotel. "No smoking", "Don´t speak too loud", "Don´t use Mosquito Repellent" "No Durian" etc... Like in a Kindergarten... Breakfast Buffet was very simple,... More

We stayed at Na Thapae Hotel a few years ago when we first went to Chiang Mai. It was a quaint little boutique hotel with basic rooms but really nice with friendly staff also. We returned last week and the actual hotel hasnt changed one bit. Still the same decor, very clean and not over priced. The receptionist came to... More

Not a luxurious hotel by any means, but very reasonably priced and good value. The location of the hotel is good, near the old city and within easy walking distance of local restaurants etc. Rooms were okay in terms of comfort. Bed was reasonably comfortable by I found it a bit hard. On one evening a group of tourists was... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Decent hotel, friendly staff. As for the hotel, not much to say. Your standard hotel with its amenities. It is a older building, tucked away in a alley, but close to a popular food joint. Unless walking is your cup of tea, its still a hike from the nigh Bazaar, but close to... More

This little hotel is tucked away behind Thapae Road but steps from the Old City and Thapae Gate. The staff are just lovely, and the breakfast cook is delightful. Sometimes you stumble across these little gems accidentally, and when you do it is just such a treat. Probably not for luxury travellers, but the staff here are so nice you... More

During our time travelling around Thailand, this was definitely one of our favourites. Our room had 2 clean comfy beds, working air-con and a small but clean bathroom. The young lady on reception was very helpful with any questions we had about the area, and her English was so good we though she was American! The location of this hotel... More

The thai girl at the reception (I think her name was Mae) was so nice & helpful. She researched so many things for us and made our trip so enjoyable. She booked great excursions for us and taxis. Rooms are nice and clean. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a nice building with large well furnished rooms. Breakfast is good but fairly limited in choices. Great location, close to all the attractions but in a quiet street. We had no trouble finding it. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms don't have balconies but there are seating areas on the ground and second floors.
