Nice hotel stayed here for 8 days close to the city centre and walking distance to all night markets in the area. Bathroom leaves a bit to be desired, bed is hard as a rock, other than that the hotel was great. Staff are very friendly. When I read about this hotel people were saying that you had to leave...

This hotel is nice and close to the old town. It has a nice and refreshing pool and the staff are helpful booking trips and activities. The breakfast was ok but the rooms are clean. Good price for a good hotel!

I have been there for 4 night. The hotel is beautiful and The rooms are very big and clean. Location is good is only at 10 minutes by walk to the old city. I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel can provide for you tours in all Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. The only reason I didn't give 5*...

Chang Thai House has been recommended to me by a friend who is also a picky traveler and the hotel is indeed fantastic. Chang Thai House is on a decent location, not too far from the towns; walking distance approximately 10 minutes. You can take either Songteaw (red taxi) or Tuktuk to Nimman road for 100 to 150 THB respectively....

You have to pay in full for stay as soon as you check in. No welcome drink which is the first in the whole time we have been travelling in the Far East these past few months. Not very friendly reception on arrival. The bathroom is terrible no mirror so no good for men & shaving. Rain shower leaks all...

Not bad hotel for the price. Rooms good. Bathroom little small but clean and functionable. Hot water units are erratic so expect hot cold hot cold throughout your shower. Staff nice. No covered smoking area if you smoke. Breakfast ok. Nothing exeptional. Just remember to try and go before 9.00 otherwise you might missout on some food. And rest is...

I reviewed this property a few years ago and gave it uniformly high marks. Unfortunately, some deficiencies manifested themselves on this stay. First, the breakfasts are still good, but they no longer serve dinner, or have mini-bars in the rooms. Second, the room safe is operated not by a combination, but by a key which you leave at the front...

We really enjoyed the Chang Thai house! The location was perfect as we were very close to the old city but just far enough away that it was less chaotic. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and the day trips we signed up for picked us up and transported us. The breakfast each day was perfect to...

Well we didn't expect a lot and the facilities were OK, but, the staff left a lot to be desired. A couple of the girls on the front desk were, well, OK I suppose. But there were a couple of guys that were downright rude. If you dared walk to the desk and ask a question and they were dragged away...

“it is quite small so not alot of choice , just dont take the ones around the pool as there is no privacy, and the weather is pretty moderate, colder than the rest of Thailand so you cant really spend time around the pool as such!”
