Lotus is a charming and relaxing boutique hotel with a lot of character. Each room has a different theme and is unique. The staff are very friendly, efficient and are more than happy to just arrange you a simple tuktuk or what ever you want. The bar is a great place to hang out in the evening and chat to...

The Lotus Hotel was again my home (Jan 8 - Mar 17, 2013) for my stay in Chiang Mai, Thailand. After staying at the Lotus last year, this was the only hotel I considered this year. Both times, it has been like a home-away-from-home. It was great not being in a large hotel where there are hundreds of people. Here,...

I have stayed at the lotus Hotel for years when vacationing. This January 14-Febuary 13 2013, I had to cut my trip short due to family emergency. The staff and owner were understanding and very helpful for my quick return back to the USA. I've already booked a room for 2014. The Lotus Chang-Phuak is a great Hotel with the...

We stayed in a suite at the end of November and had a very large room with a sitting room and very large stone clad bathroom. There were very attractive antiques in the room which was with a teak floor and fittings - very traditional and different. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. There is...

We stayed Christmas and our first time at Lotus Hotel. Our chosen room had an overwhelming odor of mold and we asked to be moved - they did and even moved all our belongings. The next night they did and upgraded our room at no charge. Desk staff was helpful, friendly and accomodating. Bar staff too were nice and attentative...

Good hotel in a reasonably quiet location...some of the rooms are quite charming. Food at the restaurant is ordinary...better and cheaper food across the road. Reception staff are great. Bar service staff are inattentive. Service at the best of times in Thailand is a difficult concept for the Thais but the food and drink people need re-education as to what...

Everything was ok except the location because no many tuktuk (local taxis) around this place. Staff very nice and helpful, hotel local style and quiet in spite of many bars around. But the restaurant of this hotel is very very expansive compare to the other ret

Lotus Hotel was the very first gay hotel in Chiang Mai and has established itself as a local landmark. The rooms reflect the architectural skills of the owner and a superb breakfast, ample parking and convenience to the local nightlife, make it a wiiner. I am the editor-in-chief of OUT in Thailand Magazine and Lotus was voted 'Best Accommodation' in...

This hotel is excellent value. My room was on the small side but was comfortable and not a problem. It is out of the old city which at first I thought of as problem. However I realised the hotel was in a residential area with lots of local shops markets and restaurants targeting Thais. Dinner for 30 bahts! I was...
