Our 5 days spent at Baan Kiri was a dream. Mim is friendly, kind and generous and made us feel at home almost immediately. Our flight was delayed for a couple of hours and coupled with the minor evening traffic jam, we were quite exhausted the moment we got there...thankfully the garden and room was exactly as we imagined and...

Our stay in Baan Kiri was absolutely perfect. This place is so special. The garden is full of plants which gives the place a cozy, secluded and magical vibe. We really enjoyed relaxing in the shade and at night the garden is lit up with lanterns and fairy lights. What really sets this place apart though is Mim and Gary's...

My stay here was everything I hoped for. Outside the city noises (and inside the countrysides), friendly staff and very helpful in getting us around. We decided not to rent a motorbike, but if you dare to travel through the traffic I highly recommend it as Baankiri is located too far outside the city to go by foot. The rooms...

When we arrived at Baan Kiri, host Mim was wonderfully welcoming and offered us information about Chiang Mai. She also invited us to dine with her at a local restaurant on more than one occasion, and drove us herself to a few of our outings! The patio around the rooms is beautiful. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. To be...

Thanks for posting a review - glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the extra lengths Mim went to to make your time here easier. There is a water pressure adjustment under the showers which can be used if the are not hot enough. Regarding taxis, the business card we give all guests with map directions also contains our phone...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights and loved it! Our suites were clean, cool, and peaceful - the perfect place to relax at after a full day of walking about and sight seeing. Beyond this, Mim and Gary are incredible hosts. They are super friendly and gave us plenty of advice to orient ourselves in the...

Mim and Gary were the perfect hosts! The little bungalows were very cozy and comfortable and were perfect for the setting they were in. It really feels like a rural, rustic place with everything you need to keep you comfortable. We were treated to fruit teas and fruit baskets on our arrival. The bungalows have plenty of space and even...
