A nice and cozy guesthouse next to the famous temple Wat Chedi Luang. The room was good, the service and the breakfast as well. The manager Mrs. T was very helpful and friendly with us. Good omelette, coffee and fruit salad for breakfast included.

Tucked away down a quiet soi, but a short walk from the action. Slightly odd layout with rooms coming off the communal area. It was perfectly quiet while we were there, however! Friendly host and spacious room, although our shower was cold....we didn't see the host again to let them know, and it didn't bother us. The communal area was... More

I arrived late, finally roused somone who showed me to a very small room with a barely adequate bathroom. No A/c. Woke lateish, pleasant out of hours breakfast. Nothing special. I imagine there's better places around here for similar money.

the guest house is in a pretty good location. work out left is the main road with temple and 7-11, walk out right are shops and stuff. The rooms are small but serve their purpose and its clean. Breakfast isn't much to shout about but its food. But a bit too far from the night bazaar. Take a taxi to the... More

I hopped off the train from Ayutthaya and wandered into town without a place to stay. I stumbled upon Sabuy and met Aun, the owner and arranged a 2 night stay. Immediately I felt welcome from the first 30 seconds talking with him. He gave me advice on what to do and where to go in Chiang Mai. His sister... More

Guesthouse is ideally located (in the middle of the old city of Chiang Mai and 100 metres from Wat Chedi Luang). Furthermore the street of this guesthouse is very quiet. Regarding the guesthouse itself, we were quite disappointed. The room on the ground floor was small, worn out and not cosy. And to conclude this review, the owner of the... More

We chose this place because it was in the old city, and because of the great reviews. "Words cannot describe how great this place is". Sounds great? You've got to be joking! We grudgingly stayed one night, feeling very dissatisfied and moved to Siri Pat guest house which was unbelievably better for the same price. An incredible difference. Yes, Sabuy... More

Very convenient, clean, comfortable, affordable and quiet guesthouse smack dab in the centre of the old town. Difficult to get into so book ahead. We stayed in the standard rooms which were more than satisfactory and probably a little quieter than the deluxe near reception. All travellers needs met by this little guesthouse.

I will start with the staff. Aun (spelling) who runs the place is a great guy who helped me make the most of my vacation. The ladies who make breakfast, iron and clean the rooms are so kind. I originally booked one night but at the last minute decided to stay three and I am glad that I did. Room... More

To be honest, I had never expected this GH to be good. We reserved 4 nights in this GH by Agoda, but unfortunately when we contact the host by mail, he told me that the room was available for 3 nights, and he didn't know why it showed that the room could be reserved in Agoda. He helped me to... More
