Stayed here for nearly 2 months. It's clean, very clean and Tuk the manager is awesomely helpful with am incredible dry sense of humour. I love the garden and the general friendliness of every one without intruding. It's managed and staffed by females. Just love the place. Also it's central

Continues to be my favourite budget hangout around here. Sadly as anywhere it attracts some rather inconsiderate noisy travellers, but that is how things are anywhere. The garden and courtyard are still nice places to relax. If you are a smoker you will be extra happy as most of the NO SMOKING signs have gone and guests puff away at... More

I stayed at chok dee for one night and I would say it's average but the potential is there to make this place awesome. The room was a decent size wth 2 twin beds and a bunch of furniture to unpack your stuff on. I was excited to have a room to myself for the first time in a while... More

For the cost this place was such a haven. I wasnt expecting much but the showers were great. Beds were a lot more comforable than others at the same price (they were also huge). Breakfast here was definatly a hightlight along with the adoreable dog who lives here.

Spent 10 nights at Chok Dee guesthouse recently. It is very well located in Moon Muang Soi 6 in the old city part of Chiang Mai. Lots of shops, restaurants / cafes, Thai massage places and a market are along this street and nearby. I had a comfortable double room with fan. 300 baht per night, so good price. Share... More

We just stumbled upon this place, but it was the best place we could have found. Lots of young traveling backpackers, very social yet a quiet, calm atmosphere. Can enjoy hanging out in the beautiful garden with a beer and a book. Clean, bright rooms and a perfect location with a super friendly golden retriever!

First just be aware that your internet booking could be ignored by the hotel if you do so! I think they should improve on this as we were almost not sure to have our booked room when we arrived and I saw people who got refused whereas they book on hostelworld or booking.com Otherwise everything else is nice. Super nice... More
