I've lived in Chiang Mai for 3 years and this is by far the best apartment available in its price range. There's everything you need to be comfortable. The owner, Ake, is awesome and accommodating. You can even rent a scooter through him. Location has everything you need close by, including a 7/11, laundromat, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Great for short... More

Been here for a couple months now. Location is perfect. Can walk out to 20-30 restaurants within a few hundred metres. Close to Nimman (if you're into that sort of thing lol), old city, KSK, Maya, Mueng Mai. Big local market 5 mins away. Great value for money (building isn't new but super clean). It's pretty quiet in the room... More

This place is amazing. I've been living here for a month and can safely say that this is the property of most value at this price point in Chiang Mai. For 5000 baht (roughly $140 USD), I've got a clean, spacious, quiet studio with fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, tons of storage space and a huge bathroom. The location is great,... More

Good, clean, spacious, basic studio apartments for a good deal. Plus one floor of 1 bedroom apartments. Some rooms have an excellent view of the mountain. The manager Ake is a great landlord. He really looked after us when anything went wrong. Location is good near cheap local eateries. There seems to nearly always be a full sign on the... More

View Doi Mansion is a great choice for anyone who want's to stay from short to long-term in Chiang Mai. I have stayed for a month on 2 separate occasions in different apartments (deluxe). The owner (Mr. Ake) is absolutely lovely and helped me with various queries throughout my stay. I honestly don't know many other places that have such... More

I stayed at this place for 3 months a few years back and I loved it! The building was just a few meters away from my massage school. It has parking spaces and a security guard at night. The entrance is locked by a security code. The studio has enough space for 1-2 people and appeared very new, modern and... More

Travelling for the first time to Chang Mai with a plan to stay for a month we looked for a budget, simple, clean, well located serviced apartment. We narrowed down our research on this place and were pleased with our choice later. Overall it is a 'no frills place', but felt simple, convenient and pleasant. The room was quite spacious, with the all needed... More

Compared to other budget places, View Doi Mansion is great value and a gem. The building is located in a side street off the road leading from the north-west corner of the moan (about 1 km away, within walking distance if you like walking). The superior and deluxe (more spacious)rooms are clean, with in-room toilet and showers, have private balcony... More

So, I managed to luck out and get a view of Doi Suthep, athough the opposite view is also quite nice, if you get high enough. The staff consists mainly of a young couple who run the building a groundskeeper/guard, and a couple maids - the couple is very friendly and accommodating, although they don't work on sundays. For example,... More
