I really can't believe previous reviews either we are very lucky or other people are terribly fussy. Arrived to be greeted very politely at airport (pay for the return transfer a bargain) we landed and were in the hotel within 35 mins. Reception staff very polite and helpful. They were Almost apologetic that our room would not be ready until...

Well maintained hotel that has bygone era charm. It adjoins Kad Suan Kaew shopping centre & is within easy, inexpensive, songtau access of central Chiang Mai. Unfortunately, Kad Suan Kaew is a centre in serious decline - unable to compete with 3 recently opened competitors. None the less, it does add value to ones stay if interested in an inexpensive...

There are positives to this hotel: it's cheap, the location isn't bad, it's attached to a pretty big indoor shopping mall, there's are separate asian (fine) and western (don't bother) breakfast buffets, and the atrium band is so incredibly terrible they shatter the unintentional comedy scale. Unfortunately... the staff can be rude and apathetic, the beds are very uncomfortable, there...

I wanted to not believe the reviews for this hotel and try it out myself. I figured we just wanted a place to stay for our 2 nights in Chiang Mai and I got a good deal on Expedia. Well... believe all the reviews. The staff for the most part is rude and not really helpful. The hotel is dated...

Decided to give the Lotus pool another go after complaining about the miserable bloke they had on the desk last time we were there. Well, what a turn-around! The lovely lady & guy were smiling, friendly & extremely helpful & nothing seemed to much trouble for them. Very pleased & shall return there on a regular basis again.

The hotel is a large property with good rooms. But the amenities are not up to the mark. TV was not working. Staff did not bothered to replace. Overall the staff and reception were rude. Always quarrelsome and wanted to dictate their own terms. The room which , we had booked a month in advance was not alloted to us...

This used to be a favoured hotel (re. high floor in Doi Suthep wing) by me for its location, large rooms, views, large pool, value, etc. It’s been several years since I last stayed here and this time (Feb 2017) found it getting more dated, poorly maintained (getting a bit run down) and with questionable, often poor service. It was...

The hotel is definitely in need of an upgrade- upon arrival we said it was just what we needed, not too expensive but close to downtown and spacious. Quickly thought the quirks started to reveal themselves. Our TV didn't work, the fruit bowl had super old and mushy fruit, internet did not work in any of the rooms and was...

I went to this hotel for a conference and was very pleased. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They offered a breakfast buffet was very good. Overall I highly recommend. The only thing that surprised me was that they charged to use the pool. It wasn't expensive, but I had never experienced that.
