We were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel, staff and dining room. Especially enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet and the complimentary dinner and concert. Only criticism 1 are slow internet in room 2 booked several excursion via service in lobby and all but the much anticipated tour of White Temple went well. For the White Temple we ended...

Always our first choice for Chiang Mai. We keep on coming back and are always just as pleased to be here. We are getting well looked after by the lovely staff in Reception, Restaurant and House keeping. It is a very popular place, both for individual travellors and functions of all kinds. Always someting happeneing there!

When we checked in at the hotel we were greeted warmly and given cold refreshing drinks. We were then advised that we were being given a free upgrade to our room along with an invitation to have dinner free one night as we were staying for 7 nights. We were taken to out room which was on the 12th floor...

We just finished our 3 night stay at The Empress and it was nothing short of excellent. Would come back to Chiang Mai and not think twice about staying here again... Staff: the highlight of our stay was the overall friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. A big thank you to the assistant manager who goes by "Superman". He helped...

The room was an old room and needs maintenance. But otherwise, really nice people (perhaps the most friendliest people in the entire Thailand, IMHO). They upgraded us and gave us fruits basket and even, a big bag of snacks, which really brightened up our day. The hotel is not so near, but not so far from the night market. about...

The hotel is clean and quite yet not to far from the busy city life. I do enjoy their breakfast buffet which is also a plus. The pool is clean but a bit small for...

Chose this hotel as was the largest discount on Expedia with the best reviews and being reasonably close to the Old City. Had stayed in smaller hotels in Bangkok but nothing quite prepared me for the improved elegance of this hotel. It's often the small, unexpected touches that make a good hotel/holiday great. I was delighted with the large bowl...

Hotel was very good and value for money, staff are very helpful and the location is great. The hotel food is not good however so go out for lunch and dinner. Also as the venue is natural there are loads of mosquito around so wear protection
