A good hotel at 10 minutes walk from a nice market and city shops. Rooms are big enough and comfortable but furniture is way too old fashioned. Refrigerator and A/C a bit noisy. Very nice pool and room view. Food quality at reastaurant was not satisfiyng, and staff was a little too creepy when trying to entertain the guests.

On arrival at the Empress Hotel it looked pretty impressive but on entering our room we had a step back in time.No tea-making facilities,no safe,no duvet,a TV from bygone days! The hotel provide hot water in the corridors, but no cups,tea/coffee etc. There are safely deposit boxes at reception. The breakfast dining room is smartly set out with the staff being attentive, topping up...

I stayed there during SongKlan Holiday. Overall I had a great experiences there. The room is big and clean with everything I need. For the price I paid, the value is great. The breakfast is nice with a lot of selection. Meanwhile, surprisingly the on-site restaurant served great Thai food, totally comparable to those good restaurants around old town. The...

Upon arrival to this hotel we were greeted by very friendly staff who were unbelievably nice. We were informed that we got an upgrade and as it was Songkran, my partner was presented with a brooch of a Peacock. This was a wonderful touch by the hotel. A welcome pack of fresh fruit and a "goodies bag" (photo) made this...

Quick check in. They picked us from the airport for a fee. Staff very attentive and helpful. Rooms are spacious and really nice.many nice gestures like leaving goodies to eat on or bed. Their moto is " make us do more". I recommend this Hotel

I and my husband stayed there for 4 days for our Easter Holiday. The hotel is located on one of big streets in Chiang Mai; Chang Klan Rd, apart but "walk-able" distance (if it's not too hot) from Old City. If you go to Old City or another major landmark, it's very easy: you can stop Songthaeu (red-colored vehicle for...

I rarely write reviews, but the services of the people at the Empress Hotel really blew me away. I booked reservations at the Empress Hotel for 4 nights from April 9 to 13. Check in was very fast and efficient. And I was told right away that they had upgraded our room. Then when I entered my room, there was...

We stayed here as a family of 6 for two nights on either side of a visit to the Elephant Nature Park. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with a good breakfast buffet and nice pool. The service was excellent, the staff very kind and friendly - in particular little 'extras' like a bag of goodies on turn-down each...

The service at this hotel was insane. I'm not sure if it was because we were a large travel group but they brought the women roses and a pearl necklace charm at dinner! The breakfast buffet is great! We stayed there for 3 nights. The pool area is very nice. It's a very short drive to the Chiangmai airport, they...
