To be fair, this hidden gem was a little far from the centre of Chiang Mai but the hotel provide a free shuttle twice a day at PERFECT times to get in to the city centre. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 7 nights in July 2014 and absolutely loved it. Our room was stunning, so so big, with...

Excellent hotel choice with superior staff; extremely attentive and responsive to our wishes. Will visit again next time in Chiang Mai. American breakfast is huge and the staff will prepare to order :)

We loved this hotel. Beautiful, old-style charm. Nicely appointed bedrooms. We had a large bedroom and bathroom, our children a smaller but still charming room. Unfortunately, our bathroom drains began to smell on about day 3. Staff came and brought an oil burner and put something down the drain to mask the smell. They had to do this again and...

First impressions of this hotel are great. It has beautiful buildings set in landscaped grounds with a lovely pool. Our standard room, while not large, was very well furnished. So it is a real shame that other aspects of the hotel let it down. My two main criticisms are 1. The shower - we had to choose between warmth and...

Unlike a lot of hotels out of city centre, I found the transport service for this hotel not as good as many. Only a couple of times to get in and no lifts back. So it does add to the overall costs, as taxis and Tuktuks did charge quite a lot to take us back. There were no local restaurants...

This place is beautiful, as soon as we arrived we were welcomed by beautiful smiles. The room was very nice and romantic. The staff were always so helpful. They supplied everything we needed, free shuttles every day to the city, fresh towels if we wanted to go swimming, bicycles, tour information, etc. We felt very welcome and would definately stay...

Unfortunately during my stay there is construction going on nearby. 9 am and you can hear them breaking the ground then the whole room is vibrated. The junior suite room is big and clean. Floor is tricky though, always slippery so not recommend for eldery or small children. Living room is on ground floor sharing with another suite in the...

Stayed here for about 5 nights. It was a really nice place, about 10 mins tuk tuk ride from Chiang Mai centre. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was always clean and had a villa-like feel. Tuk tuks were between 100 & 150 baht from the city centre.

I stayed in room 211 for four nights. The good part is the great building. Beautiful, interesting and quirky. It feels like an old Thai palace with lots of rooms around old courtyards and gardens. They have then added all the modern conveniences but in a way that does not upset the historic feel. Then they have furnished it with...

As mentioned previously, the hotel is quite far from the main strip but as long as you have a business card from the hotel with the directions we never had too much trouble. The setting and rooms were gorgeous and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend for a quieter and more intimate stay.
