Great location in the Old City, only little walk (about 5min) to main street and the night market! Hotel ambiance are superb. Breakfast choice is limited but taste good! The cons - no pool, room is kinda small and consider pricey with the category!

We stayed here in January 2016. The first impression of the hotel was great. The reception area and the outdoor breakfast area are beautiful. We checked in quickly but were disappointed to be told we had a twin room, when we had requested a double. You have to take your shoes off before entering the rest of the hotel. This...

We enjoyed everything about our 5 night stay here. The location is superb. Pretty central within the old town and a short stroll to everything. Staff are friendly and accommodating but not over the top. The rooms are spacious with lovely calm decor. Breakfast which consisted of 6 set menu options from full English or pancakes and bacon to a...

Great location with VERY THIN WALLS. We had 2 rooms, room 104 and 108 both lower levels with another room in btw us. We were there for 3 nights and my goodness, upstairs (superior suite) sounded like they were moving furniture all night from 12am - 9am, daily! At first I thought it was just my room108, but turns out...

Everything about the property is beautiful, and photos fail to capture the design and overall theme. The check-in area is outdoors, and can be quite warm if you're checking in during the hottest months of the year. Similarly, the breakfast area is also outdoors and also hot at times, and there are lots of flies. We stayed in a small...

Excellent boutique hotel with a very calmiing ambience. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially the restaurant staff. Lots of quirky features from soft fountains to beautiful water lilies, all set amidst excellent open plan oriental architecture. Great location for the rest of Chiang Mai and great to come back to at the end of the day after...

Excellent location, 3 minutes walk to the Sunday walking street market. Boutique hotel ideally for a couple looking for peace and tranquility. Try and book a Delux room or a suite. The Superior rooms are quite tiny but they come with a very cute Pvt terrace. No swimming pool. Staff are well trained and very polite, we were treated like...

We spent two enjoyable nights at Makka Hotel. Located in the Old City it was the perfect location for a quick trip since everything was within walking distance. The serene decor was calming after our daily walks. The common areas are kept tidy and clean which showed great pride by the entire staff. The daily breakfast was a wonderful treat...

We had a pleasant experience at Makka. Manager Tan was very helpful and caring and he is very knowledgeable and speaks good English. He showed us the places to visit on the map and he make sure we are looked after well. Makka is located within short walk to most of the major temples and restaurants and less than 10min...
