We have stayed here before and decided to stay again as the location can't be beat if you want to be close to the night market. The first room we received smelt quite strong of cigarette smoke even though it's a non smoking hotel (not the fault of hotel). The staff were quick to help us out and apologised, they...

I first stayed at the Star Hotel some ten years ago. Then it was a good hotel for the price . So I decided to book in again. Time has not been kind to the Star, the standards have been let to slip drastically. The towels were very old and worn, there was no box safe in the room and...

We were upgraded so we got a larger room on the 8th floor with a nice view of the city from two sides of the room's balcony. The free breakfast was average. The location is convenient to the Night Bazar.

Nothing to rave about but no big complaints. The rooms are worn and the bed could be more comfortable but the price is so low I didn't mind. Nice shower, fridge, comfortable pillows. Staff are wonderful and breakfast was quite good. Wifi works great. Would stay here again.

Generally speaking, I have no major complains about this hotel. I just returned from Chiang Mai where I stayed two days at this hotel. Breakfast served is average but improvements can be made to this hotel. The bathtubs are a bit too high which poses a challenge to senior citizens using it. Moreover there is no handle at the side...

Good on-suite room. Has a restaurant, although didn't use myself. Very clean. Towels, tea, coffee replenished every day. Fridge in room. Laundry & travel agency facilities on site. Very close to night markets. 2 mins walk. 5 mins walk from old town.

I stayed at Star Hotel for 3 nights with friends. Location-wise, it's just a short 2 minute walk form the Chiangmai's Night Bazaar. So, if you like to be close to a busy touristy area, this is a good place to stay. The hotel itself is old and more than due for a renovation. The room is adequate though I...

I stayed here 3 nights and had no complaints. Located in the shadow of the huge Duangtawan Hotel, the rooms have no views to speak of. The hotel is dated, and shows signs of wear but the beds are comfy and everything works. The carpet in my room was stained in places. The included breakfast was on par with other...

Staff was good and polite. Checking in was great. Assist in everything we requested. Location was a mere 2 mins walk to the Night Bazaar. Food, Massage Palours and 7-11 outlets are almost everywhere... Room was clean and Wifi is ok. The only improvement to be made is to the Buffet Breakfast. Will be better if more choices are added....
