I've been staying at the Baan Kaew Guesthouse for the past five years. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the morning market, night bazaar, Pantip Plaza and many wonderful food vendors and restaurants. There are 5 star spas and massage places close by. The guesthouse offers AC, wifi, laundry service and a refrigerator in the room. The staff are...

Songkran, 2016. We stayed at the B2 the first night and it was way overpriced and too busy....we moved to this Guest House and even though others had said it was out of the way....it was perfect. Food cooked excellently right on site...all drinks available....low cost food and drinks, great service. Even laundry. Wet laundry. LOL There is a Wat...

The hotel is situated in an excellent location - night markets, restaurants, small shopping malls, museum - all are within walking distances ; If you do not like walking, there are always tuk-tuk! The room is basic but clean. Even though the hotel was a bit worn down but it was value for money for what we paid for. The...

I've stayed twice here--last year for 10 days and this year for a week and will continue to return. The rooms are very basic, but clean. What's great about this place is that it is out of the busiest part of town in a quiet garden setting, but still close--five minutes from the Night Market--and right across from Wat Chaimongkol....

This is a clean, friendly and quiet place. It's outside the old city but that's OK. It's a short walk to the Night Bazaar, which is very fun to visit, and moving around Chiang Mai is easy and affordable anyway.

A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Simple accommodation but immaculately clean and very welcoming staff. The guesthouse sits around a nice garden and away from the street, behind another property which buffers it from the street noise. Across the street from the temple and the river, offering easy access to river cruises. The old city and night market are within...

In a quiet garden, the rooms are clean and comfy. Good beds, good air con, good wifi and reasonably priced restaurant. The managers are kind and helpful. Others mentioned the barking dogs - we heard them rarely and only for a short time. Never at night. Was very quiet and peaceful here.

I have returned here many times. It's very quiet and clean. Great location and near markets and massage spas. Great location to the Anasurn Market and nightlife. They offer breakfast and a tour guide is readily available for tours.

Really nice place to stay. Clean rooms, not very pricey. Lovely staff. Decent breakfasts. Stayed there for 3 nights with my girlfriend and a couple of friends and would definitely recommend again. Not too hard to get into town - plus bike hire round the corner.

The good news is the owners' warm welcome and the setting, a leafy, cool enclave in a choice spot in CM and a short walk from the night bazaar and the Ansusan market (beware Thais bearing tourist traps), the Loi Khro bars, Ping River walks, and lots of restaurant options. Sadly, the gamboling squirrels some reviewers rhapsodize about must have...
