Walking into the front lobby I was impressed, but then as soon as we got off the elevator my impression changed. The hallway to our room was dark, musky, had garbage on the floor, stained carpets and dirty linens and was generally uninviting. I was honestly nervous to open the door to our room but the room was ok. It...

Big old hotel I liked to refer to as the Overlook. Great price, good location, has a nice pool. We stayed here 5 nights. Our room was huge and had great AC. Great spot to spread out and relax while taking in all that is Chiang Mai. Helpful front desk staff that helped us book most of our excursions.

Unfortunately I forgot to check the reviews before booking our accommodation here (big mistake). We checked into our 'delux' room to find over 20 mosquitos amongst the damp, musty and rundown room. We informed the reception team who agreed to spray the room, but we were so put off and worried about being eaten alive (and there wasn't a mosquito...

The reception set a higher precedent to what was to come of the rest of the hotel. The room was generally clean and the hotel looked after but it's certainly tired. We arrived in our room and there was an overpowering smell of incense that still clings to some of my clothing. We were provided a shower and our beds...

Boutique room is great value. Breakfast is c+ at best. Pool is over chlorinated and chairs need to be thrown away. Other than that... staff is very friendly. Room is nice. Cleaning is a c+. Bed super comfortable. WiFi a bit sketch.

The hotel looks superior from the outside but is super dirty in floors and rooms, especially in the bathrooms. There is bad smell everywhere, there are huge spots of dirt on the carpets, the bathroom doesn't look as if it is cleaned regularly at all - hair and dirt in the bathtub, weird substance on mirror and upper light... we...

Due to a special trip, I was placed in this hotel without a choice. A group of us travelled and stayed here. I have read reviews online but didn't expect it to be so poorly maintained. The toilet tiles cracked. Water from the tap is yellow. I have to use mineral water every morning for brushing and rising my mouth....

Other reviews state that this hotel is Haunted. This infomation from my own personal experience is FALSE! I am a big fan of horror, when I read a review that this hotel was the younger sibling to the hotel from the Shining. I was "dead" excited, however it is nothing like it! We stayed here for 4 nights. On our...
