This is the worse hotel I have ever been to. So bad that me and my boyfriend left with in the hour. There was a funny smell in the hotel and ripped up carpets and building work going on everywhere. The hotel has an eery feel and upon getting escorted to our room we noticed black and green mould stains... More

Booked a couple of nights here while on the train up from Bangkok. Having traveled a decent amount in Thailand I generally know what to expect for the money I'm spending on a room, and by comparison this place was a huge disappointment. The lobby is huge and quite attractive, but that's very much an exception within the building. For... More

Their service is very basic for a hotel. Nothing speaks of luxury at all. The staff is as standardly courteous as they can be like in any other hotel. Food spread for breakfast is pretty decent. Their masseuses are averagely skilled. In my opinion, (and that of friends), their touches are way too light to be considered as massage. Caress... More

This hotel is quiet for being in the Old City. The AC was cold and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was decent, but nothing special. But the building is old and there's mold growing on parts of the ceiling. Honestly, there's so many cooler places to stay in Chiang Mai if you look around. This place lacks any character,... More

We stayed here one night with my boyfriend after a trek. - the pool was under renovation and we weren't informed about that, we didn't receive any apologize - the corridors were disgusting : towels on the floor, papers as well - our room was dirty, a hole on the window, mould in the bathroom, dust everywhere in the wardrobe... Stayed here about two years ago and it was a very good stay, unfortunately this time was not the case. The front entrance area is quite fancy but don't be fooled. We made our way up to the room and it was appalling. It smelt like cigarette smoke, some of the lights were broken and the shower was no more... More

I am just cracking up at the negative reviews here, first of all I don't know what you paid, but my rate was $22/night. It is yes an old hotel but has a great deal of character, clean, hugely close to some of the best mom and pop Thai restaurants in the old town. Also near beautiful Wats and only... More

This humongous hotel would benefit more from a big turnover you'd expect in a busy city. As a result, it's massive dining room and banquet halls you find on every floor are derelict and in need of repair. Fantastic building however. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food portions are big and cheap too which makes BP Hotel appealable to... More
