We stayed here for a few days as part of our honeymoon- and wow we were blown away. Yes the hotel is beautiful and comfortable but the service is truly outstanding. We had a club suite- and like the other reviews, the perks are wonderful- 7 peices laundry, free minibar, breakfast anywhere in the hotel and happy hour with canapés... More

The hotel are beautifully designed with wonderful location along the Ping river. Everything just perfect, at night is peaceful and so relax. They are absolutely the best hotel in Chang Mai for me. We made the right choice. Thanks everyone and see you next year. Sawasdee krab: )

As soon as I walked into the open air reception area of The Chedi, Chiang Mia’s hot bustling streets receded to a memory. Once in the spacious al fresco lobby I felt as if The Chedi swept me up in an embrace of tranquility. Sunken settees overlook a pebble-floored pond on which lotus flowers float, a band of green lawn... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Chedi and look forward to returning again. Everything was perfect....the staff and their fantastic hospitality, the grounds, the room, and loved our buffet breakfasts at the river. At first, despite all the wonderful write ups on Trip Adviser, we didn't want to stay there as the pictures made it look too Japanese zen... More

I have traveled to many countries around the world and the USA, this hotel had, the best service in the world and the pictures online were not as nice as the hotel itself. I've just spent a night at The Chedi and have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is chic modern luxury rather than traditional. The Club Suites are very spacious - 105 sqmetres.......but wouldn't recommend the standard deluxe rooms which are half the together. The restaurant offers a range of specialist dishes from a number of countries and the service, presentation... More

The chedi is the place to come around 3pm and soak up the atmosphere by the garden overlooking the river and having the afternoon high tea. This comes complete with a 3-tier cake stand full to the brim of sweet, savory and scones. A massive pot of tea each. All for 1100baht for two
