Wouldn't come back. Needs renovation, new linnens and better cleaning. Rooms large and with nice view, but that's all. Staff nice and helpful but with average or none English. Breakfast OK, but nothing special. Hotel restaurant fine - we were positively surprised when we decided to eat our dinner there because of heavy rain outside. Not far from the center...

We had a wonderful 16 night stay at Lanna Palace. We booked last minute after walking away from the ghastly accommodation we had pre-booked. The staff were fantastic in having a room ready for us within the hour despite us just turning up off the street with our luggage and gave us a fantastic rate for B&B. The hotel is...

This hotel could have a lot going for itself but unfortunately falls shot on many accounts. First and foremost the rooms are noisy. Single glazing means I was kept awake most of the night by the constant traffic, birds and singing from the temple at 6am right outside the hotel, that from the 8th floor. Add to that my upstairs...

The hotel is fairly well located for the price - short walk to night bazaar but not in a particularly nice part of town and half an hour walk to old town. Rooms are not double glazed and it's situated on the main road into Chiang Mai so sleep quality is very bad. Breakfast, apparently served 6-10, is cold or...

Hotel staff go out of their way to make your time pleasant. The background music in the lobby is also very soothing and peaceful. The rooms are of good size and are cleaned extensively every day. The hotel is only a short walk from the night market,

Clean rooms and regular service, geared toward tour groups, it has all the necessary facilities to describe a landmark 200 bed hotel. Very safe choice for travelers (family and elderly) who seek typical comfort like skyview restaurant, gym, swimming pool, conference facilities, airport transfers (100B, 15 mins). Rooms are large and neatly furnished but remains chilly despite temp adjustments. Minibar...

Lanna Palace 2004 hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai, and a few streets from the night market. It is a typical tourist hotel. While the rooms were generous in size, beds comfortable and room was clean, TV, fridge and complimentary bottles of water each day, there were several things missing from the room. Such as coffee maker,...

Really good deal. Friendly staff. A bit old decor but clean . lots of food shop around . 7/11 convenient store just 100 meter away . night bazaar within walking distance . a bit noisy from the main road but with this price , I could not have asked more .

Stayed at the ambitiously-named Lanna Palace (more of a place than a palace really) over Loy Kratong. At the time of booking all my preferred hotels were full, so I chose this one. Seeing it was an older tower block (used by many tour groups) my expectations were low, however it was better than expected overall. Didn't get a great...

Stayed at this hotel for three days this November 2013. Service staff were excellent. But once again the rooms were dated. Even though breakfast was not included in the stay, no one asked us for money. Distance of the hotel from the Night Bazar was about 10-15 minutes walk. The walk was quite entertaining past a few interesting bars... so...
