I just cut this stay short and had to move to a different hotel. At first, I thought the itching and bumps were from mosquitos as I had gone on an elephant adventure. Each night the itching and bumps got worse, then it occured to me. When I woke up with a nasty itch on my legs, I ripped back...

Close to Sunday walking street, the Old Town, and 15 min from the Night Market. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable - big wardrobe, fridge, armchairs. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The only thing we didn't like was poor wi-fi and TV.

Despite the whimsical title of this review, the Roong Ruang doesn't actually have 99 issues that need dealing with, although the ants do seem to find their way into really impressive areas - although that's almost a prerequisite of anywhere you stay in this beautiful country! The room itself is ok, fans and A/C cool it down, and the location...

The hotel is located just in front of Ta pae gate. Very comfortable location. All staffs speak English fluently and very very nice and kind. My friend and I were so satisfied for 3night. Only one thing is it may be little noisy because of a live bar which closes at 1pm. It was great though.

Stayed 5 nights here and overall was very happy. Location is really good a simple 1 minute walk to The Phae Gate and the Sunday Market and in the opposite direction a 5 minute walk to the massive night market. Wifi is very important to me and the signal was strong and always present. Would stay again but they do...

The hotel was a good location, good internet, and the room was adequate as was the laundry. The breakfast was spotty with a poor buffet; but, an adequate though slow ordered option. The hotel could do a whole lot more business by figuring out how to maximize various meals in house at the restaurant. The newspapers were outdated; but, the...

The staff were very helpful, giving us an early check-in without any extra charge. The A/C was absolutely brilliant. On the negative side, the breakfast is woeful. On one occasion, the milk was "off". We were constantly asking the staff for a spoon, knife, fork etc. I even had to tell the chef how to cook eggs! No safe in...

For location you cannot beat this hotel. We booked through Expedia and had a seamless check-in and check-out. It is 100 metres to Tha Phae Gate and the Sunday night market with a 7/11 less than 50 meters away to buy things like water which you will need! Our room was very large with our only complaint being the cold...

This hotel is located in a central part of Chiang Mai. It is a very comfortable and very reasonable budget hotel. A nice family owned hotel that has been successful for many years. The room is very spacious, and has a really nice comfortable bed. The breakfast that is served at the hotel front lobby is hearty and delicious.
