This is a lovely place to stay, we had a junior suite at the back of the house, it was set it was set in the beautiful gardens, giving shade on very hot days. The swimming pool was perfect to cool down in after a day's sightseeing and it was very quiet and peaceful. The room was decorated nicely, with...

I have to say that I am not usually the bed & breakfast type, but this place sold me - it was amazing. It is really cute, but above all you can tell that the owners really care about this place and the quality of their guests' stays. Our rooms were lovely, clean, and the staff was so accommodating. They...

I was recommended this hotel and it has not disappointed. Just a short walk across the footbridge from the city, but a million miles away once you step inside the gates into the beautiful garden. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, the main house (where you eat breakfast) is really atmospheric, and the pool and gardens are perfect after...

This hotel was fantastic. From the moment we were greeted until the moment we left the service was top notch. The owner is such a sweet person, and he was always offering advice for our stay and helping us with anything we needed. The rooms are basic, and clearly the house is old, but we loved our room. It was...

We are frequent guests of Baan Orapin, and have stayed there 3 times in the last few years. We have also sent several of our friends there, and all of them have returned absolutely delighted with this place. What could I say except this is a haven in the middle of busy Chiang Mai. The B&B is situated across the...

We stayed at Baan Orapin for 5 nights whilst in Chiang Mai and I couldn't recommend this place more highly. We arrived really early from the night bus from Bangkok at 6am (check-in was 1pm) but our hosts offered us coffee, a place to freshen up and a somewhere to leave our bags. This service contined throughout our stay; nothing...

Visited Baan Orapin in December for 3 night while up north in Thailand.Accomodation wa ssuperb, with the great architecture. Found hosts to be very helpful and very accomodating. A decent walk to the old city but a few bars were down the road. Great value.

We liked Baan Orapin Bed and Breakfast so much that we extended our stay and were there for 9 nights in 3 different rooms! We liked the location across the river from the markets and very near a footbridge that was a short walk to the heart of the city. The rooms were very airy and pleasant, the beds with...

We stayed 3 nights in a junior suite at Baan Orapin and didn't want to leave. Our room was incredibly spacious, there's free wifi and a few English language news channels including Fox News. It's wonderfully peaceful but still an easy walk across the river to the night market and old town. Breakfast is served overlookig the pool every morning...

Having recently returned from the Baan Orapin to celebrate my husbands 40th, we could not have been more pleased with this guesthouse. There are few remaining original Thai houses in Chiang Mai and the Baan Orapin is a great example. Opas, whose family were top business folk in the city, has found a way to open the grounds of the...
