I went to this resort 3 days and 2 nights in Jan 2008. The resort is excellent, good ambient, quiet, fantasy with many different thai style room (looks like Disneyland but different style). I chose Malaby wide house, the ceiling of the room made from glass, we could see the sky when we lay down on the floor. The resort...

Once I reached Fondcome, I can immediately feel in the warmth welcome from the staffs. They wore the traditional northern style clothes and served me Thai fruit juice. For the hotel itself, it’s not luxury as 5 stars hotels but it’s unique! I can guarantee that no place like this! Each room has its own style with history, I’m really...

The Architectural design and eccelectic setting of Fondcome is very settling to the weary mind - but comforts for the body was questionable. We booked based on various reviews - but the Resort didnt meet the expectations. The resort is far removed from the city - making travel into the city inconvienient and expensive. The extra bed was a very...

That was third vacation for me and my wife in Thailand from 1999. The first two we spent on the seaside, and now decided to go to the North. We made our choice between 2 hotels: first hotel- in the city, and second- outside. In two words it was unbelievable holidays. We ordered shuttle bus to pick us up from...

I really want to grant this charming place more points, many will find it their little piece of heaven if so ignore my findings, give it a try its that sort of place. Lovely archetect chap built it, a bit off the wall though, very eccentric rustic design, spoilt by road noise although cocks at 4.30 and the frogs at...

We reserved a stay at Fondcome Village, based on glowing reviews in TA. While it is true that the staff were extremely accommodating, and the resort is special, there was a significant drawback for us, which made us leave after 1 nite: It is extremely far from Chiang Mai. We had thought that the hotel provides shuttle service, but it...

Thank you very much for your comment and compliment. Sorry for the misunderstanding about the shuttle service, we actually provide FREE shuttle service to Night Bazaar and Night Safari which the information is already in the guestrooms. However, if guest is unsure about the service they can ask our receptionist. Out off the shuttle schedule we also provide transport to...

Fondcome Resort made our vacation to Chiang Mai an incredible, unforgettable experience. The staff was pleasantly attentive. We especially enjoyed sharing the Loy Krathong festival with the resort. The festivities were exceptional. My children particularly enjoyed releasing a hot air balloon into the air with the owner. The natural setting of the pool with the waterfall was lovely. My children...

We just returned from a 4 night stay at this extraordinary hotel -- there are not enough superlatives to commend it. The setting, abutting a lush national park/jungle, is spectacular. The food is great - just beware that 'medium' spice here is fiery hot to the unitiated palate. Every staff member was more than accomodating, every call to the front...

Wonderful, unique experience not to be missed when in Chiang Mai! The resort is set in the lush green mountain valley with a river running through the back. Very personalised service from moment of booking to our arrival at the property, right through to our stay until departure! Picked up personally by the Marketing & Public Relations Manager...we were shown...

I was looking for an authentic place that was away from the city and found the most beautiful accommodation in the jungle. But not only was the resort magnificent and clean, but the owner and staff were just the most beautiful people we have encountered in Thailand. Each and every one of them bent over backwards to help their guests...
