We booked the Sira based on the TripAdvisor reviews. Good value for money, excellent service, but there are a couple of drawbacks. LOCATION: In the city, across from the moat, and a short tuk-tuk ride away from most things of interest. (Note, if the hotel concierge hires your tuk-tuk, you will probably get a better price than if you, a...

After reading all the wonderful reviews on trip advisor we as a family could not wait to get to the hotel ,booked way back in august and spent happy days reading all about what a friendly and wonderful place sira was. We had organised a pick-up at the airport (cost 150 bht per person) ..on arrival no pick up so...

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice hotel on the inside of the north side of the town moat. Close to everything by scooter. Clean with extremely friendly and helpful staff. They made an unfortunate mistake with our booking which resulted in some apprehension on our part, but they're attitude throughout was genuine and apologetic. They looked after us well after that....

We arrived from Bangkok and collected by taxi arranged by the hotel although I had canceled the pickup it was still there and although more expensive than the return taxi took the hassle of bargaining with the locals. Pleasantly surprised that the room looked like the web pictures and even though on the 3rd floor didn't go up and down...

The rooms at Sira are tastefully decorated, with lovely bed linens, TV's, safe etc. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to walk to all Chiang Mai's temples and about a 50THB tuk tuk ride form the night market. One thing we did find was that it was far cheaper to have massages in our room than...

Very nice small hotel run by a British couple by the city wall. Very clean, good breakfast and employees always willing to help. Only word of caution is there is no elevator so one, rather young or old, needs to be up to climbing stairs, anywhere from one to four flights. In hot weather room air probably would have a difficult...

We stayed one night at the Sira boutique hotel and would recommend it highly. The rooms are tastfully decorated, clean with all the mod cons, breakfast is also tasty with eggs how you like em. The lobby and terrace are nicely finished with a well stocked DVD and book library with leaflets showing activities to be done in Changmai (Me...

My wife and I have just returned from our holiday in Thailand. We stayed at the Sira Boutique for 4 nights. Rob and Julie the owners of the hotel were a brilliant couple who could write their own tourist guide for Chiang Mai. They gave us great tips on where to eat, drink, shop and relax, they provided us with...

Stayed here for a few nights and was very happy indeed. The hotel is a little way from the main action (but only a ten minute walk) and is very peaceful. The rooms were large and clean (with a large tv, dvd player and jacuzzi bath) and the hotel staff were very helpful. The English owner was keen to offer...
