If you are not an experienced traveller in Asia, this hotel may not meet your expectations. It is a basic clean hotel - clean rooms, TV, Wifi, decent A/C, 6-10am breakfast buffet (same selection daily), outdoor pool nobody seems to use. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops in area. 10 minute walk to a large night market. Hotel does a...

The Chiang Mai Phucome is an old style Thai hotel. Quite amazing decor with much of the foyer and surrounding areas finished in dark teak wood. Architecturally this is quite an amazing hotel inside. Bedrooms are clean & tidy and spacious with all the normal amenities - comfortable clean beds, a/c, fridge, TV, telephone and a good sized en-suite bathroom....

Poor quality of amenity and service. Oldness is not the problem, but everything they serve is poor, like Breakfast, spa, and bell man service. I'm sure, some guesthouse with cheaper price can provide better quality of stay than here. I'm quite sad to chosse this hotel this time.

A lovely old style hotel and large foyer and a lot of teak woodwork. Had a every comfortable bed. Well priced and price included breakfast. A good selection and breakfast dishes included thai food other asian styles and fried eggs. Hotel caters for the tourist bus traffic so it pays to go later for breakfast. Staff where good and friendly.

I stayed in this hotel more than 5 times. It is an excellent hotel with number of conference rooms and lots of spaces. The staff and the food is good. It is close to ChiangMai university. There are lots of food corner near by hotel.

Don't stay here! We got off the elevator and noticed a blood stained mattress laying at the entrance. The room itself wasn't anything like it was described. Our " living room" included two small chairs stationed next to the tinniest hard twin beds. The walls were paper thin and we could hear both neighbors on either side all night. There...

Disappointing experience. We were in ChiangMai during the lampoon festival and weren't left with much choice regarding places to stay. We decided to settle for a place a little bit more expensive than we normally would as pretty much all the places near the center were booked. Big impersonal hotel with staff that hardly speak English and a mediocre restaurant...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and well kept and the breakfast was also very good. Also the pool was clean and refreshing. My family will always stay here when we visit Chaing Mai. Thanks and keep up the excellent service.
