I enjoyed my stay at the Shewe Wana hotel - the staff were simply lovely and very accommodating. The hotel is somewhat of a leafy oasis in busy Chiang Mai so I'd highly recommend it if it's a peace of mind you are looking for. I would also encourage you to take advantage of wonderful spa packages that are on...

Loved the little touches - from their artisan bath products to their free tuk tuk service at night. Their included breakfast was very generous and innovative (try the Thai omelet!). We loved the serenity of the grounds, as well as the privacy of the units. The staff was incredibly sweet and reliable, as we needed to catch an early flight....

The service was really great here and the hotel itself is lovely with cute decor. Although the rooms were small they had everything you needed. The breakfast is a la carte so everything is made fresh. They offer free shuttles but actually I t's only a 15min walk to the old city or 100baht by tuk tuk. Would recommend if...

We booked this hotel last october, just 2 days in advance. Due to some mix-up we recieved a 100qm suite instead of a room. As it was an error from the staff we could keep the suite for the time of our stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in all our questions. The Hotel is very nice and quite...

My second stay in 3 years. Great that staff remembered me and offered token gifts to mark return stay. Would recommend purchase of organic products esp shampoo as souvenir. They gave a complimentary bottle too! High standards maintained in breakfast servings and the expansion in asian options was great compared to the boring (sorry) western items. The thai cakes that...

We were greeted at the Shewe Wana with some Balea fruit tea, which was delicious. The hotel is in. The middle of a motor parts shop district, however it's 10 minutes to walk to all of the desirable areas and it felt safe at night. The hotel offers free shuttles to main areas in town at night, which is a...

We were always looking forward to Chiang Mai, but we will always remember how exceptional the staff were here. Very attentive, genuinely interested in your needs, friendly, helpful, and much more For us it was well located for the old town as we like to wLk and 1 is nothing. But they offer complimentary tuk tuks for those who don't....

We stayed at the Shewe Wana for one week during our honeymoon and loved our stay. The staff were very helpful in arranging taxis/hailing and negotiating tuk tuks for us. The pools were great and very relaxing after walking around the city. We also loved the food -- our favorite dinner was had right there in their restaurant (the green...

Although on a busy road, once inside it is like a quiet little oasis. Clean and comfortable rooms. A bit away from main attractions, but tuk tuks or shared taxis are easily available. Nice pool to relax and have a banana shake by. Breakfast was ok.
