Lovely, helpful staff. Charming, comfortable rooms in good taste. Beautiful garden with excellent breakfast included. Very good on site restaurant. Better than nearby riverside ones in our opinion. Very homey and pleasant atmosphere. Convenient airport pickup. Just a short walk to the night bazaar.

This hotel is made by its service and staff- very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean. Due to the 'forest type feel' there were a lot of mosquitoes about but the staff did everything they could to counteract this- repellant coil outside room, net around bed and they even sprayed the room whilst you were out if required. We...

We were extremely well welcomed!!! The hostesses especially Macha and Vicky were so kind and so helpful! They were always available and gave us good advice (excursions, activities). The rustic looking room was nice and comfortable. This resort provides a shuttle to go to the night bazar. The breakfast was good (eggs, fruits, homemade jam, yogurts, muffins, etc.). I recommend...

Our stay at Shewe Wana was just perfect. We really enjoyed the friendly staff and were sad to say goodbye. Our room was clean and comfortable, plenty of linen including pool towels. The location was great and we walked into the old city most mornings. Breakfast was plentiful with some Thai voices as well. The lovely garden surrounds made it...

A really beautiful hotel in close proximity to the markets. The service was incredible. The food was a bit pricier than you'll find locally, but worth it for convenience and quality. We really enjoyed the entire stay!

Going tomorrow and sad to be leaving this lovely resort. It is small and boutique enough to make you feel like family. We have loved the excellent service and the free tuk tuk to central Chiang mai was great and the cafe for a quick lunch had yummy reasonably priced meals and great coffee. I had one spa service and...

It felt like we are in a friend's home. The facilities are good and it's quite safe. They have a team of great staff and very helpful. There is not only one pool but two. The location of this hotel is also very convenient to reach most attraction. It only took 5 mins to reach the old city. We will...

Wonderful experience. Friendly and attentive staff treated us like family. Great breakfast every morning in their patio area and a nice coffee shop next door that they run. Very willing to accommodate dietary needs and other requests.

First off, the hotel is a great little find & worth considering when in Chiang Mai. However, we were given Room. 11, which happened to be right next door to the breakfast buffet. So regardless of our plans for any given day, we were always woken at 7am on the dot, due to the noise from the kitchen & guests....

Chiang Mai was the first stop in our first overseas holiday with children aged12,10 and 10 and it was perfect for us! We picked it based on reviews from this site and we were not disappointed! The resort looks just like the pictures on the website with beautiful traditional timber work, and tranquil gardens but it is the staff here...
