Big rooms, clean and very nice and serviceminded staff. However they do not speak english very good. Breakfast buffet with lots of possibilities but I miss fresh bread in good quality. Prices for wine is in the high end, but the restaurant is good.
Very clean resort with nice pool area, which unfortunately closes at 19:00. Rooms spacious and view of the beach. Literally across the street from the beach and 5 min walk from Jomtien main beach road. Staff friendly and attentive.
Spent two days here and enjoyed the pool area with large trees, Nice layout and hardly Any guests. Big room and a comfy bed. Breakfast is good and offers a variety of Thai and western options. Classic Thai style and very clean.
I’ve stayed here 6 times over the past 13 years. The resort still is a welcome refuge from the chaos of the street. Arriving, one drives down a private road beside tacky white condos, only to end up at the end of the road and the peacefulness of the resort becomes evident. The only thing between the pool/grounds of the resort and the beach is a cobblestone street which is closed to traffic in the daytime, and being dead end, has almost no traffic in the evening. You can actually see this street in google earth. A 5 minute stroll along the cobble street brings you to where you can catch taxied to Pattaya, about 20 baht each. The staff are helpful and polite. The rooms clean with pleasant balconies overlooking the pool. Breakfasts are fine. The only down side are the endless Russians (sorry, but it’s true) who put a towel on a lounger and expect it to be reserved for them all day long, even if they’re not at the pool. The resort will arrange a pick up at the airport for you. They’ve never failed me in this respect. A great choice for Jomtien.…
We stayed at The Avalon Beach Resort, Pattaya , Thailand on our Honeymoon. Good size room adjacent to the outside pool. 5 minutes away from the Sandy Beach. Unfortunately the staff all looked miserable/ unhappy and there was limited communication between staff and guests. The breakfast was basic and unamaginative. During a violent storm on the 23rd the generator blew up. There was a huge explosion and no electricity. The staff/ management did not inform us on what had happened or care for their guests. It was frightening and we were not evacuated . Just left alone to sweater in our rooms without any air conditioning. In temperatures above 30'C Then on the 24th there was no water. So we could not flush the toilet. Eventually staff brought us some bottled water. We were so glad to leave that day, late morning. A hotel that had no water, no working toliet and no electricity. I can not recommend this hotel because they did not look after us .…
