My Wife and I have been using this hotel for 20 years or more. We have traveled the country
from top to bottom including most of the Islands but to us, this was home, where we either started or ended our winter holiday. All have changed, Samui is no longer the Island we knew.
Phattaya has changed and Joimtien now has a paved road, but the service at Silver Sands remains the same. It now has a newish block and a second pool, but the comfort/price rate
is about the best you will find anyway. We are sad that we haven't been able to make it back every year since 2007, but hopefully we will in 2011 and to Silver Sands. Would I recommend this to a friend.?Not before, but now the secret is out, of course.

We are backpackers and we have been looking for nice place in Pattaya for good money. We have dicovered Silver Sand Villa. Price per night was about 900thb, room was quite nice, but best part is surrounding with green gardens and two big swimming pools. For this money in November I can say that it is very good/exellent place, but it is not a luxury hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel 7 times since 2007, I have always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are cleaned daily with beach towels provided free bottle water. It is set back from the main road plenty of restaurants and bar near by and 7-11 stores, will recommend to anyone who is looking for a decent well priced hotel.

on the website they say discounted price 950 baht, in front of the hotel a big sign room 1000 baht but they charge 1200 baht.
safe deposits in the room don't work, volume of TV can not be chaged. In the regrigerator you will find some juice for sale which is well past the expiry date. Not the best place to go to

I constantly read with extreme disbelieve at some of these childish remarks by some reviewers ! I have lived,and run a successful tour company and accommodation here in Thailand 20 yrs with my Thai wife and two daughters.we use this hotel as our monthly beach break.the staff are as good as any 5 star accommodation. however this is totally reliant on the guests behaviour grumpy old moaners cant expect smiles why would they..yes the cheap rooms are a little faded however i would pay more for a decent meal than the cost of a really large comfortable room with bath and pool view here! Norwegians or any other nationality wanting a better room.just upgrade to the new wing.we use this side which has a superb balcony, great interior fittings great beds.Too many people want to pay 1 star price and expect 5 star interiors.this hotel has 2 great pools ,great gardens ,great location from beach and as yet nice and not full of rif-raf !

Just a road's width from Jomtien Beach, Pattay, this is an excellent hotel at very reasonable prices. The hotel offers room only or room with breakfast. The main hotel is set way back from the road so there is little to no noise.
There are two large swimming pools, one with a pool bar. The hotel cafe/restaurant which is open-air style looks directly across the road to the beach. They'll even bring food across to the beach for you so you don't have to get out of the deckchair.
Rooms are a nice size, and there is a choice of larger rooms with balcony overlooking the rear pool where it's even quieter. This is reflected in the price of course, but still very reasonable.
We've stayed here many times and always found the staff friendly and helpful - mind you, we do speak the language a bit so that probably helps.
There is a large lobby area to meet friends, read the paper or even get served a meal....all within view of the beach.
There is also an excellent restaurant next door serving great western food (pork chops, steak etc), at unbelievable prices, and the quality is first class. On the other side is a hairdressers and in the hotel grounds is a Thai Massage shop.

We reached at 4 am without a booking and looked around a few more hotel options (at that hour there weren't many). For this place we found the price to be equal to others in the area but this one had bigger rooms, was on the main road and had a swimming pool so we checked in here.
The location is good as the hotel is on jomtien beach main road, so if you do not wish to stay at pattaya beach this is a good location. The hotel looks slightly dated from the furniture and walls, but the stay was comfortable. The pool was clean. We never ate at the place, so can't say much about the food. The staff was decently courteous but they can be more friendly and smiling. Seven of us stayed for 3 days and never had any complaints. Overall we were happy with stay.

so nice staff, really clean swimmingpools, great big room... yes the bathroom has seen better days - but it is keep clean and it workes - allwas lots of water (and have a bath-tub).
the location is super - close to everything - yet very quiet.

I have been travelling to Thailand for 30 years. The culture the warmth and kindness of the Thai people is an experience not to be missed. Sadly the Silver Sand Villa hotel on Jomtein beach road is DEFINATELY not the Thai style. To start as I checked in for a booking made 7 months in advance I was told as I checked in on 2nd January 2019 I would have to pay a 500 Baht surcharge for New Year. I was not informed prior to my arrival even though I had an email confirmation of the price. The reception staff and manager were rude and arrogant upon my arrival and a serious disagreement started as I protested on this surcharge. If it had been dealt with politely I would of just have dismissed it. Anyway this is something I have never known before in Thailand. The swimming pools were never cleaned and dirty. My room was tired and needed renovation desperately. The shower water was obviously rain water which was not treated and had a horrible smell after showering. There was very little of the curtious and kindness found in all other hotel staff in Thailand. There were no porters to help with luggage upon my departure. It was approx a 60 meter walk to reception. The television had 3 English channels NHK news Japan , Channel News Asia and BBC WORLD. There was no easily available room service. I think the rudeness of the staff and manager spoilt my holiday from day 1. I have never ever experienced such arrogance. I will keep visiting Thailand but the Silver Sand Villa hotel is definately a hotel I will never stay again.

Were There for 6 days and , ITS okey hotel thats not expensive. Theres two pool, not buffet (got restaurant+ free wifi) but you can find that in the area, and many restaurant nearby with good food. Very Happy with the stay at the hotel. And ITS close to the beach
