2nd time here staff still friendly. Love the pool you can enjoy there all day long very relaxing. View of the room so fantastic. Breakafast is varity. Smell in the public area is really relax and fresh. Just only the pillow is too soft for me even they have soft and hard pillow i still request 2 more hard pillow.
Check-in was done at a separate corner, comfortably away from the usual reception area due to my status with IHG. Was served by Po and she was awesome. Her friendly disposition, efficient working style and positive attitude made it such a pleasure to be served by her.
We had rooms on the 23 floor and all were facing the sea. The rooms were of good size, comes with a seating area and coffee table, a work desk, a nice sized LCD TV and even a balcony. The bathrooms are huge. There isn't a bath tub but there is a shower stall with rain shower. The rooms are well maintained by a team of very friendly housekeeping team whom we have met along the corridors and always never fail to provide us with cheerful greetings!
Breakfast at the poolside restaurant has a good variety and also more importantly, good quality spread. There are also live stations for eggs (one station each for Vegetarian & non-Vegetarian!) and noodles. Bring along your table card and pass it to them, they will serve you your noodles or eggs once they are ready. Great experience, rather that standing around the live station waiting for your items.
Terminal 21 Mall and a many restaurants are just a stone's throw away from the hotel, while another mall, Central Pattaya, is a 10 minute taxi ride away. Suggest that you visit Terminal 21 which is a newer and more attractive mall rather than Central.
We enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel for people traveling with the family for the holidays!
For the room, the complimentary WIFI was smooth even connecting to more than 3 devices. I am a bit surprise that the room and the restroom were very spacious. My room faced to the Payatta's beach with the view of long curved bay. For the breakfast buffet, there were varieties of Asian and Western food to choose from. Different fruit juices such as pineapple, apple, and orange were also available to give you fresh breath in the morning. However, the only thing I felt bothering was the coffee was not self serving. If you want to got a refill, you have to ask for the waiter or waitress. It would take sometimes if many people on the queue. For the amenities, I didn't really access the swimming pool, but I could looked down from my room and it had a water slide and net for water sport, which I think it is adequate for short stay. I was a bit disappointed with the gym, which wasn't many equipment that you can exercise your muscles
Rooms in the bay tower are large and have a small balcony overlooking the sea. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from within the hotel as well as many restaurants and bars in the area. If you would like to enjoy the famous Pattaya nightlife, it is just a ten minute ride on the baht bus which you can catch right outside the hotel.
Staff is friendly and service is great. The hotel is family friendly and great for a quiet vacation away from the noise, crowds and nightlife.
We stayed in one of the ocean facing rooms in the second building, close to the main building and were happy to have a seven eleven at the entrance. The pool area is beautiful and the breakfast with variety.
The rooms are spot clean, bathrooms well kept & the staff cordial.
Will definitely choose to stay here again.
Service at this property is great. Breakfast very good, too. Only problem is that there is no elevator from underground parking to the hotel, so you WILL want to stop at front of hotel and let them handle your bags, or else you'll be pulling your suitcases up stairs from the parking garage.
Second, you'll get two sets of towels even if 3 or 4 people are staying in your room. Every day. Two sets. So, you'll need to call down every day for more towels. Every day.
Beware the safe. If you put a laptop in it or overstuff it, the safe may jam and not open. Happened to us, and took about 40 minutes for them to get it open.
All in all, would recommend for families. We would stay here again.
The service was quite attentive. I request extra towels and it was delivered within 10 mins, impressive for a hotel of this calibre. Other than this, I did not request much service. There is no much amenities in the bathroom, not even toothpaste kit but I think can call to request one. I brought my own. The room facing the beach has a nice view but the restaurant / bar right below will play loud music until late evening on weekends so this might be a consideration for some people. The surrounding area is quite "seedy" but this is Pattaya and is expected. Closeby to the hotel there's a lot of local restaurants. There's also a mall within 10 mins walking distance.
Overall, nothing much to complain especially when I am not paying for it. It's a decent choice if one visit Pattaya on a budget.
Cons:
Far Far away from everything
No good eateries around
No member recognition
Unfriendly front desk
Pros:
Clean and spacious rooms
Tip To all: prepay on a Travel agent website to avoid surprising VAT & other taxes added on and the currency conversion loss. Ideal room rate should not be more than 2000 Baht considering the location.
Absolutely a terrific property: the room we were on the 12th floor had a balcony at an angle so that we can have privacy as wellla s see the ocean … our personal view point of sunsets and sunrises! Absolutely the best hotel room in terms of the way space has been designed to help you with work desk, relaxing sofa overlooking the ocean, bed with a view of ocean if you pull curtains apart.
This hotel even had a 7-11 convenience strore inside, a door from the reception lobby takes you to 7-11!
Battery operated vehicles ply if you need assistance go get dropped on the road or other buildings in this property.
Swimming pool needs a very special mention. As it is an infinity pool in so many ways and such a great place! Very well maintained.
Water can be refilled from special bottle refillers in the reception lobby. Thanks Hiliday inn.
Our special compliments to Check-in staff ang khana who was so professional and helpful and attended to all our needs with care.
Breakfast is also very good spread with not only Thai food but also international cuisine including Indian.
I have to specially thank Oilly for even remembering our room number when we came there the next day. Such a special way to make us feel even more home.
Also special gratitude to Ang in the breakfast area.
Strongly recommended. We will surely be here whenever we are in Pattaya.
