The hotel and service is still very good but unfortunately the Pattaya City Government decided to organize a music event right here for 4 weeks or more. Extremely loud at the weekend!!!!! on Saturday the noise starts at 10am, already until 1am. it is not possible to use the balcony, it is not possible to watch tv in the room or to sleep until 1am. for business travel it is absolutely unacceptable if you want to relax at the weekend!!! Make sure to confirm before booking that there will be no music events at the hotel during this time! I am very sorry for this hotel
The property is not very responsive to support requests despite being a regular traveler to the property almost every month. The IHG program support is very patchy, while there is pockets of excellence by some guest experience manager to make good things systemically and repeatedly failing, the woes continue. This visit was booked at a premium rate but despite arriving late for check in at well past 3 PM, the room was made ready only by 5 PM. While the team offered to stay in another room monetarily, including allowing me a 1000 baht F&B voucher, For someone traveling just for a days work is not helpful to lose a couple of hours to relax in a stay of 15-18 hours as I checkout by 11 AM usually next day. Also, I invariably don’t take breakfast being a vegan, but I always am made to pay for breakfast included even when it’s not on a corporate rate.…
Check in was great. Upgraded to a corner room due to status. But that's where it ends. First instance The breakfast area. I arrived around 9:00 a.m. It's usually busy for any hotel around this time in their breakfast area. Ordered eggs at the egg station and the cook wasn't too happy that I didn't bring a table card to have the cooked food promptly delivered to the table. Upon receiving said cook food, the waitress also seemed unhappy in delivering the food. Second instance In the room was a letter stating the room was cleaned and sanitized. I noticed the table in front of the sofa had quite a few stains. It took several of my personal alcohol wipes to get a good portion of the stains off. In this case, either the cleaner didn't do a very good job in cleaning the table or simply ignored it. Third instance My second trip to breakfast I arrived much earlier. Around 6:00 a.m. I had ordered a cafe latte from a gentleman and gave him my table card. I was there for about 30 minutes and had several trips to the food stations and, yet, still no hot beverage. As I no longer had time to wait, I approached the gentleman and asked where the cafe latte was. He simply told the nearby staff to get one for me. I told him i waited more than 30 minutes and I didn't have time to wait any longer. All the while, he and three other staff looked at me as if I did something wrong... In which I realized, I actually did something wrong. It was by going back to having breakfast at this place again. Safe to say I didn't come back on my final day to have breakfast here.…
"Went in September and back in December and loved it. Back again just a few days ago.. Great location, the staff is courteous and professional. Room is always clean and the view is beautiful. Plenty of room in the lounge and restaurant so you're not bumping elbows with the next table. Breakfast is GREAT! and the rest of the cuisine is very good and very reasonably priced. We'll be going back in June and then again in September for our anniversary.
I have been traveling to Asia for over 20 years and the Holiday Inn Pattaya in my opinion is the best Hotel in Thailand. The genuine caring attitude of the entire hotel staff, their warmth and courtesy, the ability of the staff to anticipate and be responsive to my needs, and their kind smiles are the major reasons why I look forward to returning to the Holiday Inn Resort in Pattaya. A very Special Thanks and Appreciation to Reservations Manager Praden S. and Khun Arisara for making my every stay here a Diamond level stay in every way. I would also like to thank Khun Pang and Jessie, as well the entire breakfast buffet dining staff for their exceptional service and treating me as a VIP guest. Absolutely one of my favorite hotels in Asia! Thank you so much!
Probably the nicest Holiday Inn we have had the pleasure of staying. We enjoyed it so much we stayed twice during our holiday in Thailand. Excellent location on north Pattaya Beach, far enough away from the more adult oriented establishments but a mere blocks from from the upscale Terminal 21 shopping mall and short hop the the Night Bazaar. Everything from the lobby to the 25th floor rooftop bar is top flight. Impeccable cleanliness and staff attention. Room was spacious and nicely appointed. Comfortable bed and soft goods. Large bathroom with oversized vanity. Small balcony overlooking Pattaya Beach great for whiling away spare time. Two lovely infinity pools accompanied by pool bars. Children’s pool with a water slide and another somewhat hidden pool near the Beach Road entrance. Pool attendants always on the go either cleaning or delivering drinks. Neat scan the barcode feature to order drinks and snacks from your lounge chair. The 25th floor rooftop bar in the adjoining Executive Tower is a must stop for happy hour and sunset watching. We opted for the inclusive breakfast buffet which was simply outstanding. The widest variety of food was available to satisfy anyone’s taste and the ubiquitous staff kept the tables clean and dishes moving from chef to table. Saturday evening we enjoyed their seafood buffet. Many options to indulge your seafood appetite and all of it delicious. We’ll worth the modest cost. The physical plant notwithstanding, it is the people who made our stay delightful. While everyone treated us kindly and with Thai respect some warrant special mention. Mary at the front desk handled our check in on both visits. Despite some self inflicted complications on our part, she handled the check in politely and with patience. Always smiling in greeting us as we came and went through the lobby. Pool Bar Attendants Tong, Jane, Nai and Sung deftly handled all of our drink orders and requests. And they are a fun bunch too. In the Dining Room - Everyone was exceptional but too many names to capture. But Pang, Jessy, and Tom (who handled our table for the seafood buffet) went above and beyond. Lastly, Atinam our 14th Floor housekeeper kept everything shipshape over the course of our visit. This property was the highlight of our recent Thailand holiday and we will certainly return on our next adventure to the Land of Smiles.…
We stayed at this hotel. Excellent place. Central location , Few minutes to beach . Roof top bar is worth a visit. Enjoy Happy hour with sun set. Rooms are very spacious with modern decor And furniture. Best part is Breakfast.Plenty of choice with special corner for authentic Indian Vegetarians food. So much choice and served Masala Tea. Small 7 Eleven serving convenient store style supermarket. Golf buggy to take near to beach. Hotel so Central for all kinds of restaurants. Excellent staff , very Courteous and friendly. On our wedding anniversary they went out way to make our room decorations. Gave cakes. Highly recommended and stay on Executive Tower. For excursions there is small tour company just outside gate to book all trips and shows. I will come again. Value for money.
I was here for 2 days for business conference. Got a twin bed room at the newer Bay Tower and there's a small balcony with a beach / sea view. Room is of good size, and theres a large working desk. Wifi speed was quite good and connection is troublef free. The bed is quite hard though. The shower is just a walk in shower with hand held shower, no overhead shower but it's a Holiday Inn, expectation to be adjusted accordingly. The service was quite attentive. I request extra towels and it was delivered within 10 mins, impressive for a hotel of this calibre. Other than this, I did not request much service. There is no much amenities in the bathroom, not even toothpaste kit but I think can call to request one. I brought my own. The room facing the beach has a nice view but the restaurant / bar right below will play loud music until late evening on weekends so this might be a consideration for some people. The surrounding area is quite "seedy" but this is Pattaya and is expected. Closeby to the hotel there's a lot of local restaurants. There's also a mall within 10 mins walking distance. Overall, nothing much to complain especially when I am not paying for it. It's a decent choice if one visit Pattaya on a budget.…
This is an extremely well run hotel in a good location in Pattaya. It's located on Beach Road and within walking distance of Terminal 21 shopping complex. Friendly and efficient staff and Concierce can make recommendations for tours and even book golf. Rooms are comfortable and well decorated and many have sea views. The have a great breakfast selection in both towers and if you're there on a Friday try the Mediterranean Buffet, If not try the outdooor restauranton the ground floor facing the beach. Both grerat experiences. I recommend you have a pre-dinner drink on the roof top terrace and watch the sun go down over the bay - quite spectacular. All in all a great stay and to be highly recommended.
When we arrived in Pattaya looking for a place we stayed here for two nights. The room was very comfortable. I like the pillows. On the 26th floor the view is awesome. Great pool and basking. The breakfast is The Best HI breakfast we've had. Massive variety.
