We booked here for 4 nights through Agoda well in advance and paid for. We specifically asked for a larger corner room overlooking the sea since we were staying for some time. What we got was a small room on the 8th floor with a view of a 30 storey condominium on our doorstep. Look slightly to the left and we could see a little of the bay and a Temple- that was it! To be fair, the small room did look clean and the housekeeping had arranged a swan of hearts on the king size bed which was very comfortable as it turned out. The room was noticeably lacking in furniture though- nowhere to sit and relax apart from the bed. There was a nice balcony to sit out on but no chairs or table provided. We called reception and asked for 2 chairs and a table for the balcony- The person didn't speak much English and said very sorry - no can do. I asked again and eventually I small chair was reluctantly brought up. We thought this was very odd- why provide a balcony with access from the room but with nowhere to sit down and relax and look at the so called view? Why ? My wife by this time was feeling hungry so we ordered a Room service meal from the Menu using our rooms phone. We waited and waited - over an hour- Nothing. My wife called again speaking Thai and a lady on the other end said she had done nothing because we didn't give our room number! She never asked for the room number - we assumed by using our rooms phone she would know that anyway. We went down many many steep stone steps to the so called private beach. Again it was a very small beach and it was dominated by a coffee house that didn't serve meals and a pool bar that had a few tables outside and a small but not very clean outside kitchen that they served food from. We sat down but were forced to listen to very overloud rap music that was coming from this kitchen. We had to wait 40 minutes before we got any food. The following morning we did manage to get two chairs and a table sent up to our room to put on the balcony along with an extra key card because we were only supplied one key card initially. So beware - At this hotel once you leave your room with a single key card all power is stopped and that includes the air conditioning unit. Now Thailand at this time of year is unbearably hot so your room heats up very very quickly when the Air-conditioning is switched off for even 20 minutes. The breakfast here is nothing to write home about and it is the same every single day. It is self serve in a very small restaurant area close to the pool. There are only 10 tables crammed in there and there is always a queue waiting to sit down in the morning as a result. We tried arriving at 7am, 8-30am and 9am. At 7am only we didn't have to wait for a table. The breakfast is mainly Asian cuisine but my Thai wife tells me that even that it was very tasteless. The coffee and orange juice was ok but the Tea- The water for the Tea making didn't even boil the water to make the Tea. It was a coffee pot on a keep warm plate only. Some poor tea maker that ! Eggs were cooked outside under an umbrella away from the tiny seated breakfast area whose Air-conditioning really struggles with so many people trying to get in and out in such a small area. It's very uncomfortable- not at all a pleasant place to be. This area is apparently the Hotel Restaurant. There are a few more tables outside but they are open to the elements and yes it pours down with rain in Thailand as well as sun. The pool looks okay at a glance but closer inspection reveals it not to be very clean at all. The best part of this hotel are the lovely cleaning ladies who look after the rooms. There is a separate toilet and shower area which they kept spotlessly clean and throughly deserved our tip. There is a good fridge, a safe and hair dryer- but no toothpaste or toothbrush provided. The car parking area beneath our window turned out to be quite noisy too. The hotel is situated on a narrow cul de sac and I think non hotel residents think it must lead to the beach. They get turned around by the hotel staff shouting directions as a result. They do run a free Tuk Tuk transport into Pattaya but it apparently was full until the evening. The hotel staff were not very helpful so we just got our own taxi into town and the big beaches. At 2150 tb a night - this hotel is certainly not cheap even for Pattaya. The Golden Tulip here is really a Budget Hotel pretending to be a Big 1st class Hotel. That It certainly isn't. We feel we would have been better spending 25% more and getting a really decent hotel here like a Pullman or similar where we would have been alot more happy and comfortable. It was too late to cancel because we had paid in full in advance with Agoda. We are disappointed because it is nowhere near up to expectations in so many ways.

I had the opportunity to stay at Golden Tulip Pattaya Beach Resort. It's a beautiful hotel and very good service. It is next to the sea and a lot of food. The hotel offers parking and a delicious breakfast. The view here is very good. The atmosphere is suitable for people who want convenience. The room booked is superior parcial sea view. The interior of the room is beautiful and stylish. It is a hotel that I recommend if you are vacationing or traveling in Pattaya.

We got bad experience in this hotel listed below: 1. Worst Car Park: only 5 parking slots for this hotel. If full, you need to park your car on public road 100 metres away from the hotel. What a weird. 2. Problem with cleanliness: We got a baby, so requested for a baby cot. The cot came with with bedding sheet having full of pee marks on it. Then, all of the pillows and bed sheet had musty smell. Moreover, the floor was super dirty and dusty. I have mop the whole floor using foot towel before allowing my baby to crawl on the floor. The towel turned out very dirty after moppong. It was horrible to know that the hotel had problem with cleanliness and hygiene, especially during the current pandemic period.

With the rate they sell, this hotel is not worth it. We booked 2 night stay in June as a couple and arrived at the hotel in the evening. The first thing you may need to know is that parking space is only 5 slots in front of the property and you will then need to move your car to park in front of a Family Mart nearby. Horrible parking experience that made our vacation quite painful. (Imagine trying to park in a 1 lane alley with cars pouring in). Secuity did tried to say "Follow me to another parking spot" but they are gone in a flash. We got a room on the 4th floor. Good 4 star room alright, but the floor is so dirty my gf and I asked for housekeeping to wipe the entire room right away. This has never happened before in any of our stays elsewhere. I expected just a clean room and this is not it. Hotel ambiance is alright, pool and beach is crowded but acceptable. With this cleanliness and parking inconveniences, I felt my vacation was going the wrong way so I shortened my 2 night stays to 1 night and asked for a refund on my 2nd night. This was where yet another problem came. The rate I booked is a promotion at THB 1800 at night, non refundable. But I did experience such a horrible stay I checked out early and forego the 2nd night. I wrote a full page of A4 explaining why to the so called management. At first the manager asked by offering an upgrade with benefits. This was appreciated, but I still decided to go away from this hotel still. I then submitted my refund request to management through their staff, and got a confirmation that they will process it and confirm to me by email about this refund. Hearing that I checked out and move to another place. This has been almost a month ago, I followed up more than 3 times for this refund confirmation email. Note that I understand if the actual refund can take a month, no problem. I just wanted a confirmation that you are refunding in writing. None received when I asked more than 3 times for a call back and email. I tried to call too, no one picked up so I need to ask an assistance to call instead of me going through headache and following up myself. Money was paid and in their pocket. They mentioned they may need to get my refund from the staffs that day, so in the letter I wrote to management I said please refund without deducting from the staffs. What I got? Yes. Reservation and front office throws my case to finance, finance threw back to another dept. I followed up again today, my case has not been signed and processed at all. What the actual hell? This management makes it so complicated and all the staffs are throwing this complaint to one another? I should have insisted to get the money back then rather than following up on these people. Terrible experience. To management/owners who dont sign, please take action. This is not the way you want to treat your other guests I presume? I contacted you and you have my contact. Cheers.

Absolutely loved this place. Really quality hotel with a great view to the "Truth Sanctuary" Temple from my balcony and ocean view. The pool is fantastic and you can walk straight down to the private beach from there. The beach is so good. The ocean was warmer than the pool and just spectacular. Breakfast was good and staff there were so nice and welcoming. 9.5/10.

I spent one night here with my friend. This place made me surprised as located on the beach. The room is very cozy, clean and big rooms. You can enjoy with the pool and easy access to the beach also you can see a big church near by the hotel. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Just only a car park is quite far from the hotel but a minute walk. This is a good choice if you need a quiet hotel.

This was our last hotel before travelling back to the uk after travelling around Thailand for the last four weeks. On arrival we were greeted by friendly receptionist and given a complimentary drive. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Located at the end of the street not far from the Pullman hotel that we stayed at last year. This hotel is both modern and stylish. The room was spotless, bed was very good and comfortable. Complementary shuttle service to terminal 21 centre. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of dishes to choose from. I know that others have mentioned that they found that there wasn’t a big variety but I cannot fault the selection that was on offer on our visit. The area around the hotel is like most areas of Pattaya, not the most attractive compared to other parts of Thailand. Lots of rubbish, plastic bottles, plastic bags etc. This area is predominantly People from Russia, very little people from the uk here. To summarise, an excellent hotel, excellent staff, great variety of food for breakfast, spotless rooms, very comfortable beds, modern, stylish and great value for money. 👍
