STAY AWAY! I was forced to cancel my Thailand trip several weeks ago due to the massive storm in the northeast US. When asked to refund my previously-paid hotel bill for 6 nights, the hotel responded that I could NOT get a refund, but they...More

I stayed at the Vic last year. I too enjoy the balcony factor. Balconies facing the Soi are not big but comfortable with seats. It's interesting to watch the goings on in Soi 6 from above. Especially after dark. However my only criticism is the fact that the aircon unit is out there with you, and if its on, will blast you with hot air. Not very pleasant in an already warm and muggy environment. I'd just turn it off for the duration of my balcony stays. Hope this helps :)
