The rooms are romantic and clean.
The staff and and owners don't speak English. For foreigners who don't speak Thai this could be a problem. But for me and my Thai wife this was not a issue.
The menu card is simple for foreign standards. If not picky it's oke.
There are some establiments nearby. Jomtien beach is close , but better take the 20 bath taxi to Pattaya to avoid the impolite Russian scum. Just 15 minute drive to walking street. Over all I had a wonderful time at sugar beat resort in 2014. Khorp kuhn khap to the owner and staff.
BTW Thai hotel for thai people.
it takes at least more than 10 minutes to have someone at the reception, unfriendly mature and not smiling at all lady. I asked to visit the rooms and she cannot do it. When I asked her why. She just smiled. Finally one of the maids showed me one room.
When I asked the price. She said 800 THB. In the same time someone called and she proposed the same room at 700 THB and guess to? Thai people.
Too bad for this lady that I can understand Thai language and when I asked her the difference: once again a smile.
Pattaya has already a bad reputation to be one of the most unfriendly place in Thailand, well step by step I can confirm it more and more.
For me it is a NO WAY
A clean and well run place and only a short taxi trip to either the beach or town.
We stayed here around 12 years ago and its refreshing to see that they have stayed on top of maintenance.
