Somerset Pattaya is undoubtedly one of the best hotels I have stayed at so far in Thailand. It is placed in a very strategic location infront of Central Festival Pattaya, a shopping center that is subsequently across the beach. The Deluxe Room that we stayed in was very spacious, included a washing machine, and a kitchen area as well as a dining area and living room. Kun M, a staff member at the front of the hotel was very friendly and he treated us with hospitality towards my family.

This hotel has now been open for a few years now and it’s not the first time I’ve stayed here it’s well played out and very central to all the area easy walking around
Rooms are well allocated showers baths and beds are very comfortable balcony for smokers but don’t smoke in room you will pay the price just use balcony they will give you ashtray
When I’m in Pattaya this hotel is one of my top picks for value for money it’s not cheap but it’s not expensive
I travel to Thailand four times a year when I’m in Pattaya this is the place I like staying I hope they keep up the standard and don’t let the place go like so many other hotels in area

This was my first Somerset residence experience and I'm very impressed. The hotel just opened in November and I've stayed there twice in November/December 2022 with plans to stay a month in 2023 in their one bedroom unit. I am a road warrior so I think I know hotels and staff service and this was on par for the best especially given the reasonable cost. The location alone should attract anyone coming to Pattaya who want to be near everything. And to find luxury and service far above any other in the area is amazing. Granted the hotel restaurant and sky lounge were not open yet but the views from both the rooms and the infinity pool were outstanding. But most of all, I found the personal service by staff and management to be superb. By the end of the first stay, I already felt like it was "home". The size and service make it feel more like a boutique hotel instead of one of the larger chains in the same area overrun with people. It also has that "oasis" feel once you're on the property (away from the hustle bustle of Pattaya). Don't overlook this place. You won't regret it.

The new hotel offers rooms with acceptable sizes, but unfortunately, the room cleaning services are extremely poor. Despite repeatedly informing them about the need to clean my room for two consecutive days, they failed to do so until I escalated the matter to the manager. Furthermore, they neglected to replace the mattress sheets and towels until I contacted them multiple times. It seems they lack the standards one would expect from a hotel and instead resemble rental apartments. The rooms are overpriced compared to a recent stay I had at a 5-star hotel in Pattaya, which offered similar, if not larger, rooms along with a range of facilities for children, all at a 15% lower cost near Terminal 21 Mall. While the location is convenient, I would strongly advise against staying here unless they significantly lower their prices by 50-60% to match the quality of their services. This review reflects my genuine experience, and I have even attempted to be lenient in consideration of the courteous front desk staff.

I stayed in a studio apartment and it was spotless, really comfy bed and a small kitchenette. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The rooftop pool is by far the best one I’ve ever seen in Pattaya, sun all day and slides for the kids. The rooms are spacious and very well insulated, I heard no noise from neighbors or from Second Road traffic. Check in and check out was seamless and the baggage handlers Tony and Chao were helpful and very friendly. I will definitely be back to this hotel.

Clean modern and recently developed property with a gym and pool. Convenient location in the middle of everything, opposite a shopping centre with department stores, restaurants and supermarket. Some rooms have a kitchen and washer dryer which was a good option. Spacious modern bathroom. The staff were outstanding; polite, friendly, courteous, personal, kind and helpful. Pros: 1) big, modern and nice rooms 2) location is perfect right in the center of Pattaya and next to Central shopping mall 3) infinity swimming pool has amazing views of the city 4) has indoor kids play area and activities 5) pretty good gym
Cons: 1) staff is still working out some kinks as it is a new hotel so service just OK 2) no restaurant at hotel but they do provide a breakfast buffet in the lounge area next to the swimming pool but the space is pretty small and the food just average 3) swimming pool area has a strange 2 level layout and does not maximize space very well. On the lower level pool area there are only 10 lounge chairs for a hotel with 324 rooms and not enough deck space for chairs and tables as it is very narrow. On the second level there are 2 big slides for kids but the pool is not usable for swimming. There are 3 or 4 sunbeds mostly in the shade but no lounge chairs or tables. I would redesign the upper level and remove the slides (sorry kids) and make it a nice swimming pool, add several more lounge chairs and some tables. Removing the slides would also provide some more amazing views. There are going to be some early morning battles for those 10 lounge chairs so get up early if you want one!!! 4) No drink or food service at the swimming pool
Bottom Line: I would stay here again because of the rooms and location but only if the price is right
