A pleasant place to stay. Room with a balcony was large, good air con. We got what we paid for, which wasn't a lot. A jug for coffee/tea would have been nice. Breakfast each morning was a good choice. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Note: there are 3 'Shakespeares' in this block. I'm writing about the one with the lift....

I needed to stay one night. When I checked in I was offered a fourth floor room but the receptionist did ask if that was OK ( I'm old!). he went on to explain that he had one second floor room but the view was not good. Good service idea. I took the 2nd floor room. This is a very...

1) The restaurant was closed for the 5 days we stayed there. 2) No one told us that the restaurant was not open when we called. 3) The lobby bathroom resembles a pigs pen, dirt and mud everywhere on the floor and the water in the sink did not work, and no toilet paper to be found anywhere. When I...

I stayed for 4 nights at this economy Inn. The Inn has problems with staff asleep on the job and the breakfast in the neighbouring street. I was shocked that the bathroom shower didn't work and that the Inn staff were asleep on the lobby sofa most of the time or could not be found. The lobby toilet flooded the...

This hotel is in a decent location and for 500 baht/night it was a good deal. The staff was friendly & helpful which was nice. There is a really good bakery towards the end of the street (on the beach side) that has delicious mochas and treats. The air conditioning in the hotel room is by far the best we...

The staff is very nice and quite helpful, but they speak limited English - so be aware. Around this hotel there are plenty of tasty, budget restaurants. Room was pretty standard. It has a mini fridge. Air conditioning was wonderful. It was pretty quiet hotel and are. There are 5 floors with no elevator, so just be aware of that....

I would say for the money and location the Shakespeare Inn in Pattaya Thailand is hard to beat. Comparable to a Days Inn or a Super 8 in the states you get what you pay for, and for $25 US a night what do you expect. I was in and out of my 3rd level floor on a daily basis....

We were booked in to a room on level 5, and this place has no lifts. Over priced for accomodation provided. Look elsewhere.
