Super and stylish hotel. The stuff is quite friendly.

Rooms are stylish, big, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, a bit noisy because the windows do not absorb the noise from outside.

The location is quite comfortable, all the stuff around can be reached in short time by walking or taxi.

The breakfast was a nice selection, only the voucher system for payed breakfast is a bit wired.

Overall not bad, but everything about the hotel is a little weird. The rooms are well decorated but a bit small and the bathroom is not soundproof. The breakfast buffet has some good food and some terrible. The view over the Dalat Market and the city is certainly a highlight of the hotel. I hated eating at their restaurant because it was partly opened making it very noisy, almost like a food court. The staff did their job. The hotel is right over a wet market so the smell can be quite unbearable once you step outside. However, it is near a lot of restaurant, coffee shops, night market… Perfect for people who want to enjoy the city life in Dalat.

First time in Da Lat and had a wonderful 5N at Colline. The premiere king bedroom is very spacious and clean. There are enough US/UK power sockets. The bar fridge though small but is cold which is good as usually most hotels’ ones are not that cold.
Toilet and shower are separated which is good. Unfortunately, the rain shower water pressure is kind of weak, so no choice but to use the hand spray which is weak too but manageable. Toiletries are acceptable except the body lotion which smell and feel weird. The tooth paste also don’t taste that good, not the normal “Colgate” type. Maybe the toiletries can take reference from Hotel Nikko or New World Saigon in HCMC. Do note the basin area is small too, thus can’t put my toiletries bag. Will be good if can extend longer to the wall. The basin water tap seems to be abit low as I keep touching the base while washing my hands. Also note that to eject the water from the basin, you need to manually open and close the middle cap which to me it’s not very hygiene. The lever behind the water tap is useless and non operable. Next, the bed and pillows are kind of hard to my liking. Aircon is cold which I like and they have open concept wardrobe. Breakfast is not bad but can be better. Nevertheless, the staff are very friendly and the location is very good. You can walk down the stairs beside the left side of the hotel, to the night market. Going down is easy but going up, gosh, must have good leg muscles to climb the many stairs. You can always visit the nearby massage spa. Reasonable price ard 550000-650000vnd for 2 hrs. Overall, Colline is recommended compared to Dalat Palace Heritage Hotel which is further away from the night market and shops and way more expensive. Lastly, do make use of Grab for food and taxi. Sometimes they have vouchers and my taxi ride only cost less than $1.

We booked 2 rooms (1 double & 1 twin - Room number is 401 & 707) on 28 December 2019.

Firstly, when we stepped into the rooms, a funny smell was attacked our noises. The smell of dirtiness due to cleaning work was not good enough. I need to request the hotel to do house keeping service again to clear this bad smell.

The toilets were not clean and got smell too. The blankets were not arranged tidy. Another bad thing is the room has no iron and we need to pay for iron service if we want. wtf. My room 707 had a broken telephone as well.

In short, It’s not worth for the price of 2,500,000vnd/night and 4 start hotel standard with such lousy services. Though location is good but we are still totally disappointed and consider as wrong choice.

Sorry no photos because no mood to take any photos.

My 2 rooms booked under last name:
BUI -> 401.
CHYE -> 707.

The hotel itself is fine if you are looking for a place to stay for a night, I would not recommend staying longer. Breakfast was actually pretty good (although we had to eat standing up given how busy it was). The gym is awesome, although it’s not actually the hotel gym, it’s a gym they have access to through another company.

But, as others have said, it’s SO noisy at night and in the morning, you hear everything. I had to sleep with headphones in playing music, as I couldn’t sleep normally.

Also, the hotel is above a wet market and I can safely say, the smell is absolutely disgusting. I nearly vomited walking to the gym, it was that bad. I think the smell actually finds it’s way into the bedroom as well, our room did not smell fresh at all.

Staff are friendly and speak good English which helped.

As said, one night is fine, anything longer and you would start to go mad.

I've spent family vacation in 3 days here but really bad experience. My wife booked a Studio room with lake view.
- First day, and first room check in: There was a connecting door between my room and the next one (hmmm). The toilet had some stinky smell. We went out for sighseeing and came back at night for sleeping. Can you guys imagine?, tourists from the room next door came back at 11 PM, start chatting and we could hear clearly every singly words they talked. OMG (The rooms have no sound proof). I called the receptionist but no one picked up my call so i had to come to the next door and request them to talked a bit softly so my son could sleep. (Sorry guys, if you guys read this review, i feel very sorry about brothering you guys at that time as tourists)
- Second day, we went down and complain with receptionist, She changed our room to smaller one, we were ok with that coz we just needed to stay in a quite room. We could sleep at second day. Thanks God!
- Third day, and the last day in Dalat. The noise happen agained, but not from room next door, the room above us + the noise from flushing water also.

not the greatest hotel we have stayed in and not the worst. on the plus side, it is in a great location overlooking Da Lat. A short walk down the ridgeline to the night street market area and the lake. despite issues with staff who have obviously not been trained well or managed well we did have one staff member Ms Thao who was outstanding. had drinks at their lobby bar and service was terrible despite a male staff member sitting at the bar for over an hour. Turns out he was the bar manager who thought his only job was to sit there and watch others work and then publicly yell at them when he was annoyed. I have travelled all over the world and while this may seem minor, I have never paid for a bucket of ice for the room, ever. A lot of hotels even have ice machines where you help yourself. This hotel thought it was OK to charge 50,000vnd for a bucket of ice that would serve 1 glass or 100,000 vnd for a larger bucket. while 100,000 vnd is only $6au it is a bit rich to pay when there is only enough ice for 2 drinks, yet I can go downstairs to the bar and get a very large gin and tonic for 150,000vnd. food at the restaurant was average. I would sack the manager and get new staff trainers as that is where the issue is. one of our travellers fell over on the very strange set of steps in the lobby, and the only staff member to come to her aid was Ms Thao. Despite her having a sore knee, we still had to pay for ice for her to ice her knee. Breakfast was very poor for a Vietnamese hotel. It is obvious that this hotel caters for the korean and chinese market as the majority of the food for breakfast was either korean or chinese. The hotel has its own bakery attached to it, and they use the days leftover pastries and bread for the next days breakfast. All were stale and hard as a rock. hardly any fruit and what was there was not nice. In a country fill of pineapples, where bananas grow wild at the side of the road, and where rice is everywhere, I couldnt get any of that for breakfast. Congee was horrendous as was the pot of tea made from a plastic hot water thermos.

Honestly, I really love this hotel. Its location is very convenient, you can easily take a walk to the Dalat market and Xuan Huong lake. All the facilities are new and modern, I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet here. The staff is professional and friendly, the room view is magnificent, although the room size is a bit small, it is cozy and lovely. I will come back to this hotel soon.

We booked different categories: two in the hotel wing and one in the apartment wing. There are inconsistencies between the two categories. And most of the problems are with the apartment one.

1/ They don't have a heater nor air conditioner in the room. And we could not change the temperature even though it was super cold during the night.
2/ There are musty odour in the room.
3/ Problem with the door. We needed to use strength to be able to close or open the door.
4/ It seems like the apartment has not been well maintained and not in the best condition when we arrived.

Other than that, I think that the included breakfast buffet is average and should be improved about the diversity and quality. One good point is their perfect location, right at the heart of Dalat.
