I stayed here for 2 nights at the start of my holiday in Vietnam. The hotel is located conveniently for the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex and the delights of the Old Quarter - I'd recommend finding a nighttime street food tour. It was clean, the room was comfortable and the food and drink were just fine. All of the...

Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a group tour. After arriving in the morning from a 15 hour flight I was pleased that they had a room ready for me. I had emailed ahead to let them know I was arriving early and requested a quiet room with a window. The lobby is nice and the...

Spent a week in March at the Hong Ngoc, and it's a very nice place to stary. Good breakfast buffet, great pho restaurant just down the road to the left for breakfast as well. Excellent Bia Hoi joint right out the door to the left. Rooms very clean, good AC, great laundry service. A great place to stay in Hanoi.

The hotel is in a great location and quite central to all the key points in Hanoi. Old quarter and still walking distance to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Our rooms were nice with good air conditioning and hotel staff were all friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights with g-adventures. Room was nice, staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure they always went out of their way when you wanted to go somewhere in a taxi. Went to the day spa and it was also great. Not right in the centre of town but it's not a far walk. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here three nights and the rooms were clean and fine for the price. The breakfast buffet is adequate - there were some lovely pastries. They have cordial for juice, which is disappointing in a country with so much tropical fruit. The reception staff were not very friendly. The rooms on the outside, were larger and well appointed with...

Was booked as the start hotel for our intrepid tour. We booked an extra night and used the day to do a tour of Hanoi with urban tours part of the Intrepid group. The breakfast was fine. The hotel rooms were ample for a short stay. However any room overlooking the street was subject to the traffic noise which cannot...

Located near the old quarter, this hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. The mattress was rock hard and the pillows very thin. The shower was good and the room had a fridge, safe and air conditioning /heating. Tea/coffee facilities also in room. Breakfast was terrible but quite a few different pastries. Tiny lift.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and we received a welcome drink of juice (cordial I am pretty sure) when we arrived. We had two rooms, a double and a twin that were adjoining. The beds were very hard but we found this throughout Vietnam. Although the hotel is aging the rooms are very clean and are made up...

We enjoyed a 3 night stay here before starting an Intrepid tour of Vietnam. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The bed was very hard and the room a bit tired but it was clean. It is a 10 min walk into the old quarter but there is lots to see on the way. Plenty of places near the hotel...
