We booked several months in advance with sister hotel Hanoi Charming 2. Two days before arrival we emailed the hotel with no response, so we tried calling, no answer. After trying for several days we called the Hanoi Charming who said that the Charming 2 has closed for renovation. We received no warning from the hotel in advance and were...

While the staff were lovely and helpful the rooms were a disappointment. The sheeting on the beds were damp and the room had a very stale smell (probably due the lack of windows). The pillows were quite hard/lumpy and the shower was very rusted. The TV had intermittent reception and the walls were very thin so would hear everyone who...

Stayed here for two nights with my wife and had a comfortable stay. The hotel is situated in the middle of the old quarter and down a small ally which taxi can't get down. Making it a quieter hotel. With the exception of the pack of small yappy dogs that live next door. The rooms are everything you need; they...

The hotel is expensive for the rooms it provided. The rooms were damp, no windows, smells really bad. We even found a cockroach and small ants. The beds were old and uncomfortable. Pillows were hard as rock and smelly too. Friendly staff.breakfast was ok.

The location is very good for exploring the old quarter. The first impression made by the lovely girl on reception was one of the most positive i've experienced. She was all smiles, informative but aware that we may want to do our own thing whilst in Hanoi. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff during our stay from borrowing...

I like the way they assist clients and gave us the map upon checking in. Their map is so accurate and even has recommendations what taxi to take and where are the good value for your money restaurants. We booked for 7 but only come 4, they offered to sell our other room but unfortunately wasn't sold. Good part is,...

Charming Hotel made my time in Hanoi an incredible experience. From the day that I booked all the way to the day of my departure, the staff were very helpful and personable. The facilities were very clean, cozy, and affordable. The location of the hotel was also very central in Hanoi; everything was accessible by walking. I would highly recommend...

This hotel is centrally located and the staff is great (super helpful and friendly). The breakfast was also good. However, you get what you pay for at $22/ night for the rooms. The beds are horrible- very uncomfortable. I couldn't sleep at all and had to switch hotels after the first night. The rooms look a lot nicer in the...

I bought my bicycle here and put it together in their dining room. The staff was incredible kind and accommodating to me. All were friendly and helpful for directions and recommendations and questions of where to get certain items. The street the hotel on is narrow street and the taxi couldn't get in but an employee came out and helped...
