A great place to stay when in Hanoi, very close to the catholic cathedral, which you can see from the dining room on the top floor. The breakfast is excellent with a large selection of hot and cold food, cereals and fruit. staff are excellent and will recommend restaurants and bars. Tours can be booked at reception, and they are reasonably priced. it's a short walk (10 minutes) to Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi Hilton) where they kept captured American pilots during the war, if you are interested in the war then this is a must visit. All in all a great stay here, and I will stay here again when in Hanoi

We had a great stay. The location was perfect right in the heart of it but the room was perfectly quiet. Beds comfortable and very clean and helpful. Definitely recommend. Kids loved the breakfast plenty of options including for our 6year old with celiac disease who can’t eat any gluten.

We stayed here for two days for the last leg of our trip. The hotel is near the major streets we could easily walk to venues and restaurants. Customer service was great - employees were very attentive and made our trip more enjoyable.

This boutique hotel located right in the center of the city. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel, all the city’s happenings are just around the boutique hotel. Breakfast was good with wide variety of the options available. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Meanwhile, the room was smaller than expected, which some spaces are utilized for unmatched bigger bathroom area.

Had to change room thrice as first room allotted was full of foul smell as it seems there was toilet trap leakage problem leading to ingress of smell. The room was changed and the bathroom lock broke and stuck. Bathroom couldn’t be opened even. After the staffs failed to rectify the same the room was again changed. No help was provided for shifting the opened luggage. Third room allotted does not have any window and toilet has no privacy.
There is no service in this hotel. Breakfast available with the booking is extremely bad and same left over items are served. There is no restaurant in this hotel.
We checked out in the night. As we paid for the breakfast we requested for providing packed breakfast. However they provided only one piece of bread and butter. No body turned up after repeated requests.

L'Heritage was a lovely place to stay! I stayed with my cousin in a 2 twin bed room. The beds, pillows, and blankets were comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The room has great AC that is also adjustable and there is also a TV. They also have a minifridge in the room and offer 2 free water bottles. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating--they helped me order tickets to the water puppet show and even picked the tickets up for me for a small fee of 50,000 VDN (~$2 USD). Location-wise it's right next to St. Joseph's Cathedral and less than a 5 minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. The breakfasts are high quality with a variety of fruit, Vietnamese food, and some American food like toast and pastries. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay somewhere nice in the heart of Old Quarter Hanoi.

We had an excellent stay at the Hanoi L'Heritage with our family, particularly because all the hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location, close to the lake, restaurant and shops, but a little way out from Old Quarter so it's not too busy or noisy.
We stayed at the hotel in two parts of the trip and each time they kindly put us in 3 rooms on the same level for convenience. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast where you could also order Pho, omelette etc.
After I happened leave something behind (not something of big value), one of the hotel staff Ms. Sabi went above and beyond and help me retrieve it. I am very thankful for the amazing service of Ms. Sabi and all the hotel staff.

Great location in old quarter Hanoi, this little hotel is good value stay, comfortable room with good breakfast, walking distance to Kiem lake. Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast menu had great variety and food choices changed slightly on different days. The spa was convenient and reasonably priced easy to book. Hotel staff was very attentive, we were able to keep our luggage there for 2 days for our overnight trip to Ha long bay. The only negative that I can point is very loud AC that made strange noises throughout the night, but we were too tired to care

I read a lot of reviews on here before booking, and I’m not a newbie in Hanoi. Very disappointed overall. For the price you can get far better in terms of room style and comfort, staff attentiveness and customer service and breakfast options.
It’s ok, and the location is great but the hotel is tired once Inside and the staff seemed tired and uninterested as well apart from the man on the door who was always friendly.
Always wonder what makes a reviewer write it’s the best hotel in Hanoi, there are literally hundreds and most likely people only experience one or two. As a regular Hanoi visitor over many years, by comparison to what is available, this falls very short.
