The rooms were dark and gloomy. Stunk of cigarette smoke. The food was westernized. Get better Vietnamese in Melbourne. Front desk staff not as helpful as they should be. Bought a 10 Day Tour from TVSN - that was a Big Mistake. They make loads of promises and in the end, delivery very little. The Tour was through SNA Tours....

The rooms are clean and nice. The staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast was ok, but nothing to rave about. Service at breakfast was lacking. One egg station so have to wait a bit sometimes and getting coffee can be haphazard.

What a beautiful Hotel, would stay here again. Great area, lovely staff and lovely room Easy walking distance to the old quarter, Lake & shops. Our room was very comfortable, with plenty of space, everything was lovely and clean.

The hotel is well located in Hanoi and the rooms are comfortable and quite big, The breakfast, which was included, was extensive and good. We were able to walk to everywhere that we wanted to visit in Hanoi, including the city walk suggested in Lonely Planet.

The rooms here are clean and well serviced and staff throughout the hotel are all extremely friendly. Breakfasts hare are very good with plenty of variety and with options for coeliacs available. We did eat at the restaurant one night and ordered steak (ordered rare and came out well done and tough as boot leather) to our disappointment. After that...

On the edge of the old town with plenty of interesting things nearby and good access to history and restaurants. We arrived early and had roms made available without fuss. There is a bar on L2 with good ambience and ready service. Staff are friendly and effective. Breakfast excellent

Spent 4 nights here as a jump off to Halong Bay and Sapa. Great hotel, very well run with really good rooms and helpful staff. We ate breakfast here on 2 mornings and it was well presented and satisfying. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi, apart from it's situation which is on a very dirty street. Not the...

This was a nice hotel with free wifi and breakfast buffet. It also had a spa with very reasonable prices. It is located in the old section of Hanoi with the Cycloped tour bikes and many small stores. We walked. The French section is on the other side of town and had very expensive European shopping.

We are about to start an organised tour of VIETNAM. Hanoi is the first city. I cannot believe craziness of the traffic. Impossible to walk along footpaths, scooters parked on them. This hotel is quite lovely, our room on 12th floor had everything required. My biggest problem was having to climb into the bath for a shower. There's a Japanese...
