Detailed Reviews
We moved to this hotel after a less than great night at a nearby hotel. The location is ideal if you want to be near the lake or have business with an embassy. The lake is a 30 second walk, the embassies 10 minutes or so. There is a large grocery story (VinMart) a short walk away.
The room has a large sitting area, work desk, full kitchen with a household-size refrigerator/freezer, and the bed is very comfortable as are the pillows. The bed area can be sectioned off by closing a floor-to-ceiling curtain between it and the lounge area -- convenient when your travel companion wants to get up early to work (and turn on all the lights).
The bathroom includes a full-size tub and a Japanese toilet (i.e., heated seat and built in bidet with multiple options).
We were there in the midst of the pandemic so occupancy was low. Rather than a breakfast buffet they provided us with a menu that included a very large selection of items ranging from Western standards to Vietnamese standards. You won't go hungry from lack of options.
Evenings in the rooftop restaurant includes groups of local youth taking selfies of themselves in the 'fancy' surroundings. Worth an evening drink for the beautiful lake view as well as the people watching.
Staff were great, food was very good and prices in the mini bar were entirely reasonable. Coffee, tea, drinking water and a FULL breakfast are included.
If this location fits your needs when visiting Hanoi, I cannot recommend it more highly.

Room fits with the price. Convenient for long-term staying. The food on the restaurant is fine. They also have 2 bars (one of them is a rooftop bar).Especially, the hotel has a very nice view of the west lake

We stayed 1 night & chose this hotel based on reviews. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. On arrival, the luggage had to be brought up a set of stairs first. Then after checkin, we had no assistance to bring bags & luggage to our rooms nor any assistance when we left. The rooms are very small & wasnt very clean as the bed had hair on it and the cupboards were dusty. The room also had a stale smell of dampness & smoke residual although it was a non smoking room. Also we used bottled water in fridge instead of free water in table that are the same type as we misunderstood which one was free. They wouldn't just allow the room temp bottles just to be put into the fridge in place but insisted we paid for the cold water. The only thing that was ok was the cooked to order breakfast.
