My wife and I visited the Hotel Tirant three years ago and found it an excellent place to establish ourselves on our visit to Hanoi. This year, travelling with another couple, we decided to base ourselves here again. The hotel had undergone a number of improvements over the three years. The downstairs breakfast room had now been converted into a...

We stayed here for a couple of nights both sides of our Halong Bay cruise. Both of these were booked through Blue Dragon Tours - thanks again Cindy. It's a great spot to stay close to the lake and most of the shopping and food areas. The roof top pool and bar, higher up, provide a wonderful view of the...

The Tirant Hotel is a characterful place to stay in the old quarter. The hotel’s location is one of its best assets as well as its helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was huge and furnished nicely. The hotel’s roof terrace has been recently refurbished, it looks great and offers excellent views but the drinks are a...

Overall a very nice place to stay. Economical, clean and with a staff that bends over backwards to make your stay a pleasant one. The Breakfast Buffet is top notch but the coffee is the standout item for me.

We stayed for 3 nights before travelling to Sapa for 3days and then returned to Tirant for another 2. We really enjoyed our stay and we would certainly stay there again. The food was tasty and fresh, staff eager to help and everyone we met spoke good English. The pool was very clean and the view from pool terrific. I...

A well located smaller hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. Having booked direct for three nights we were picked up by car from Hanoi Airport (which in hindsight was a real bonus!) and were delighted to receive an upgrade to a Suite which gave us ample room and a street view. The staff were very helpful and the...

Absolutely love this hotel. It is well located and beautifully decorated. We have stayed in Hanoi three times before but this was our first time at the Tirant. We stayed two nights - before and after a trip to Sa Pa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The first night was on the 6th floor and perfectly quiet. Unfortunately...

My friend and I stayed here for a few nights while travelling Vietnam. Mr Don and all the staff at the hotel were exceptionally good and helpful. It was 5 star treatment but not 5 star prices. It was so helpful that we could also store luggage while we did a trip to Halong Bay. The hotel is in a great...

The Tirant Hotel exceeded our expectations. We arrived very early from London, checked in, went for a walk and coffee, and by 9am had a fantastic upgraded room. Great facilities with decent rooftop restaurant and bar with wonderful views over the lake. Pool. Good choice for breakfast. Staff booked excursions for us. Could not have been more helpful. Good central...
