This is a perfect place for a long stay. The staff are great and very friendly. The rooms are clean and well kept. It's conveniently located for the shops and the lake. I love Hanoi and I'll definitely be back.

The Manager is trying to trick you! Don't book any Tours with him! And if he already tricked you, please be not afraid to call the police! He has to give you your money back! The man who's working there is really nice and kind, but that's it. I wouldn't stay there. Hanoi has so many better Hostels.

Rooms are okay and the stuff is nice! It's a little bit far from the old quarter! The Manager of Lemon hostel is a really bad person, so don't trust him at all! He's trying to trick you! They kinda kidnapped us. We arrived at the airport and took a private driver. While he drove us to our originally hostel...

I am currently staying in Room 601. I have been here for 3 weeks. The guesthouse is under new management. It is now called Lemon Hostel, not Lemon Hotel. I've read all the previous reviews below. Times have obviously changed. A lot. My room is spacious (about 4m x 8m) and scrupulously clean. It has a flatscreen JVC TV, a...

So glad that we were not the only people to be had by this scam...but also sad that it has happened to others. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! We, like many others it seems, got in a taxi at the airport-unmarked which was our first mistake. We arrived at a hostel to be told that we couldn't stay there due to hot...

The taxi driver of the airport was part of the scam on our first evening in vietnam. He drove us to this hotel, not the one we booked. The owner waited for us there and offered us filthy rooms. We were sceptic and left to find the real hotel.

They scammed us, just as they have done to many others, but in a way it was not too bad, they gave us private rooms with cable tv and private toilet, so we got more for less money. Scary situation though. Be careful
