Pretty much agree with all the recent posts. Very efficient staff, food in the exec lounge was high standard, nice pool, great location. Yes the building is quite old, but does have a nice ambience. Excellent value for the price paid.

We were in Vietnam for a week and used Hanoi as the hub for our travel. We stayed at the Hilton for 3 days and it's greatest advantage is it's so centrally located in the Old Quarters. It's right next to Opera House and 5 mins away from all the shopping hotspots. The hotel itself has an old world charm...

Beautiful hotel close to shops and 10 minutes walk to old quarter. Rooms are big. The Buffet breakfast is the best I've seen. It's variety is huge. Lovely outdoor pool although the water is very cold. Not many people use it because of this.

A very nice 5star hotel, that was reasonably priced, it had all the amenities. I stayed on 2 occasions here. It is only a short walk about 10 mins. away from the old quarter, there are quite a few restaurants nearby also, as well as the opera house next door. The only whinge i had was the breakfast price. As...

Overall a very pleasant experience. Great helpful and friendly staff. Nice facilities, with spacious rooms. Very good buffet breakfast with many western and Asian choices. Good location, easy walking distance to the lake and old quarter.

We had a pleasant stay during Christmas. The room was very large on the executive floor. This gave us access to the lounge which was a great place to have breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés. The latter especially was a large spread and could easily substitute dinner. The room was spartan but adequate. The bed was way too spongy...

The best part of Hilton Opera is the location. Right next to the Opera House and walking distance to Lake of restored Sword and shops around the lake. Room was alright but not luxurious compared with other Hilton properties. Staff was nice and generally helpful, particularly those at front desk and travel desk. In case you go around weekend take...

I really liked this hotel. Breakfasts were amazing, people were very nice, location was superb, I walked a lot from there, there are many art galleries close to the hotel, it is located next to the opera house, staff was very friendly and made me feel at home away from home. The elevators were extremely slow and that was he...

Hilton Opera is a beautiful, affordable hotel with comfortable rooms, great food, and a wonderful, helpful staff. Home away from home!!!!!! We have stayed at many Hiltons and this one is by far the best! We will be back!

This is a wonderful old building in a great neighborhood. It is walking distance to the lake and the old quarter where one can get a great sense of Hanoi. It is also near the national museum, which is worth a visit.
