The Hilton was a great place for the short trip to Hanoi. It was clean and had lovely employees who made every effort to fix a reservation mistake made by our party. It was very close to Old town and near many restaurants. I was pleased with the great gym that they had and outdoor pool.

I must say that although I am a Hilton Diamond member, I never tried the Hilton Hanoi Opera as I was told it was bit "tired". I travel bi-monthly to Lao Cai/Sapa (North Vietnam bordering China) for business at the Aristo International Casino and resort and usually stay 1 or 2 nights in Hanoi to recuperate before flying off. ;...

Sure the hotel is a little tired and could do with a bit of a face-lift (like most of us!!), but the central location combined with the positive and helpful attitude of the staff more than compensate. I stayed in Room 609 ( Executive Club Floor); it was very comfortable and quiet. The "Executive Room" entitles you to access the...

It was my pleasure to stayed couple of days in Hilton Opera hotel again. I`ll stay there always when I`m on business trip / Hanoi. Helpful staff . Service in 7. floor / lounge was friendly. Special tks to Ms Thao for attentive & excellent service. Housekeeping service ( cleanliness of the room ) was also in place.

My husband and I just stayed at the Hilton in Hanoi for 3 nights. We decided to stay there because we had back in 2003 when we first visited Hanoi. First disappointment was arriving at the hotel in a airport taxi and the driver trying to overcharge us despite the price on the door. No help from the Hilton staff....

Dear Slowing I was very disappointed to read that you experienced so many problems with your recent stay. I am sure you will agree, from reading our reviews, this is very isolated and not reflective of the service we offer. We clearly failed to deliver great service to you and I apologise for that shortfall. I have shared your feedback...

Hotel staff were all friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotlessly clean but were quite dated. Bed very comfy - great nights sleep! Nice large bathroom with plenty of room for toiletries. We had a room service meal the night we arrived which was delivered promptly and was very nice. Breakfast menu has a huge selection with freshly cooked choices...

My third stay at the hotel and I do not see much in terms of upgrading. Room is pleasant (Executive Floor) but looks a little tired in its style. Nice working desk and chair but please make it a bit clearer where the workable outlets are. We all carry so many devices these days that the juice becomes really important....
