This hostel is located in one of the busiest streets of old quarters. The direct yard is full of fish, fruits and vegetable vendors. But the wifi is exemplary, breakfast is generously served, free coffee and banana at the lobby, hallways are narrow and messy but rooms are clean and big woth huge beds and large bathroom. The manager is...

Cheap option in Hanoi for sure but it's not worth it. They upsell their own packages for Sapa and Halong Bay (which is fine) but don't be sour when we book a cheaper one somewhere else. After that service was non existent. Also another couple had an altercation with the owners that resulted in a broken front door (completely shattered...

Stayed here for 2 nights, location is not suitable for everybody, market is just outside the hostel. Backpacks of the guests are just scattered in the lobby. Check-in was not smooth, the receptionist escorted us to the room with two double bed then after few minutes came back saying the room is not for us, because our booking is one...

It seems that owners live on ground floor of the building - reception is not 24/7 and I felt weird, when I had to wake up someone to open the gate when I arrived after night walk. On the other hand, gyus are helpful in terms of laundry, trips, transfers etc. The hostel itself is not so good - sheets...

Lovely staff in this hotel that intent to answer to all your needs. The rooms (furnitures decoration...) are slightly faded but still comfortable. The breakfast is good except pancakes, and tea, coffee and bananas are provided for free all day long. Extra services are also offered such as laundry, bikes rental and tours. Great for a backpacker trip.

The location of Hanoi Winter Hostel is right in the center of the old quarter, near the Night Market on weekends. Very good and fresh breakfast menu. Rooms are okay with a/c and fan but could have been cleaner, big bathroom. Very friendly staff, helpful with further travels. Good value for money!

This isn't the cleanest hostel and our room wasn't the best, it was quite small for a 4 bed form. The staff absolutely make the hostel though, we only stayed for one night because we had a morning bus the day after so we didn't spend much time here. The staff were so good, asking if they could help us...

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in a good location in Hanoi this is a where you shoul stay, BUT it's a very sad, hot, smelly place and the staff are pretty dispondent and don't really seem to be interested in being kind to theirs guests. They have free breakfast which was pretty good, but not amazing,...

The hostel is located in the heart of the old quarter, right in the thick of a food market. The street is too narrow for cars to drive down so if you get a taxi here you'll have to walk down the tiny street past the market. Fish parts, fruit and veg, bloody meat and live aquatic animals thrive right...
