The room was dirty and the shower broken. Luckiky the water ran brown from the tap into the blocked sink so having a shower was not high on the agenda. As staff to fix and nothing was done. The staff were rude and unwelcoming from the get go. It's a budget hotel but lacks the basics. It has a bed...

Very small rooms, no windows to the outside. Passably clean but some mold in the bathroom. The staff is ok. Well it is deff not the best place in town but if you're on a budget, i guess it is ok for some nights.

Although the room was reasonably priced ($12-15 incl breakfast) and the staff at first seemed friendly, unfortunately we had a bad experience here. The second morning at breakfast the staff all of a sudden tried to force us to book a tour to Halong Bay with their company. When we refused to do this, they said we had to pay...

Being there for 3 nights as going alone and my frequent hotel already full. I take the double room with expected window. The room quite small in compare with photos but ok with enough facilities: - furniture is old but ok to use, actually i dont like the mirror in the opposite of bed. Bed is enough for 2pax, I...

I was in the room on the top of this hotel for 4 days 3 nights. The room and the bath room were clean. Aircon sometimes didn't work but the staff came immediately when I called and the price was reasonable

The hotel we originally booked had overbooked and sent us here as an alternative. The staff don't speak much English but they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't much but you get what you pay for. Spacious, clean, decent shower, free wifi and average breakfast. Good location in the old quarter of Hanoi. They have a lot of...

I stayed here 5 times each time on transit to trips of Northern Vietnam. I booked all trips through the hotel. The Harlong Bay Trip was over priced but others were cheaper then others on my trip. All trips were extended by extra days. The Staff were were all helpful and friendly. The location was very handy. The rooms were...

Got moved here for 1 night when the Kangaroo Hotel was full, so I wasn't charged for the stay. Room was clean, bathroom and shower were good. Location is good, in the old quarter of Hanoi, within 2km of all the major sights.

Stayed here for a night in late December 2013… Was moved here from Kangaroo Hostel as one of their guests had requested for a late afternoon check-out… Location was okay - street appeared to be lined with hardware stores / mechanics... Was given a level 2 room at the back of building - no view but was decent, clean, and...

We have been guests in this Hotel in 2011 and 2012 and now this time again in 2013. We booked our room via phone a day in advance and the owner itself confirmed to have a Superior Room for us for 15USD, after a short mail exchange the room was booked and we thought we would get what we paid...
